Publication number: 20240430116Abstract: A system for video conference and/or chat analysis. The system has a system server which interfaces between a coaching server and a video conferencing, and/or chat server. The coaching server contains training and coaching data leveraged to facilitate human resource performance improvement activities in resource intensive environments such as human resources, contact centers, or back-office environments. The communication server hosts video conferences and chat sessions respectively. The system server initiates video conferences and/or chat sessions on the communication server based on information received from the coaching server. The system server retrieves a transcript from the communication server after a video conference or a chat transcript during active chat session, parses and processes the video and/or chat transcript and enters the processed transcript into the coaching server.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 24, 2024Publication date: December 26, 2024Inventors: Robert Owen Hahn, Alberico Grossi, Daniel Yves Lepage, David Janssen, Jamal Kelmar Edey

Publication number: 20240417191Abstract: A process and apparatus for handling a rigid sheet is disclosed. The process comprises engaging opposing faces of a sheet at its periphery with engagement means providing a second engagement means, movable relative to the first and engaging the sheet with the second engagement means. The sheet is then moved relative to the second engagement means whilst the sheet is engaged with the first engagement means and is then clamped. The sheet is then moved to a desired orientation or location whilst maintaining the first and second engagement means in fixed relative position. The process is useful in handling glass sheeting and in the production of multiple glazed units and on an insulating glass production line.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 23, 2024Publication date: December 19, 2024Inventor: Robert Owen

Publication number: 20240390609Abstract: The introduction of electronics into a drug delivery device may introduce certain technical challenges, such as durability, electro-mechanical integration, and drug delivery performance. The present disclosure provides solutions for inclusion of an electronics module with an inhaler. For example, heat stakes may be used to secure a printed circuit board (PCB) to an electronics module's housing. Also for example, a slider may be used to transfer vertical movement of an inhaler's yoke to an electronics module's switch. Also for example, certain seals may be used when interfacing the electronics module to other portions of the device's housing to achieve a desired performance.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 12, 2024Publication date: November 28, 2024Applicant: Norton (Waterford) LimitedInventors: Enrique Calderon Oliveras, Daniel Buck, Erica Jamie Kantor, Ross William Weir, James Roche, Steven David Gardner, Robert Owen Kivlin

Patent number: 12085169Abstract: A pressure retained gasket seal provides enhanced resistance to hydraulic unloading by including a notch formed in a rear face of the gasket groove, thereby reducing intrusion of process fluid behind the gasket and improving hydraulic retention of the gasket seal. Embodiments increase the process fluid pressure limit of the gasket seal by a factor of two or three compared to gasket seals of the prior art. In embodiments, the gasket groove has a dovetail cross-section, thereby increasing resistance to process fluid pressure by requiring compression of the gasket before it can be dislodged from the groove. Embodiments form the gasket from flexible graphite, which can be initially shaped as an annulus and then forced by an applied load into the gasket groove in conformance with the notch. Embodiments include compressing the graphite to within 50% or even 70% of its maximum density during installation thereof.Type: GrantFiled: September 23, 2021Date of Patent: September 10, 2024Assignee: Flowserve Pte. Ltd.Inventors: Glenn Robert Owens, Jr., Daniel A. Nelson

Publication number: 20240289729Abstract: A method includes receiving, at a user device, a user selection entered into a third-party application to have a payload delivered to a delivery location via an uncrewed aerial vehicle (UAV). The method also includes displaying, by the user device within the third-party application, a first UI portion of a delivery software development kit (SDK). The first UI portion enables user selection of a delivery point at the delivery location. The method additionally includes after user selection of the delivery point, receiving, at the user device, a delivery status update from the delivery SDK indicating that the UAV has commenced delivery of the payload. The method also includes displaying, by the user device within the third-party application, a second UI portion of the delivery SDK. The second UI portion displays UAV tracking information as the UAV delivers the payload to the selected delivery point at the delivery location.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 28, 2023Publication date: August 29, 2024Inventors: Joseph Robert Owen, Simon Alexander Carroll, Jing Yi Tang, Kevin Yifu He, Jeremy Ozymandias Aery Fallick

Publication number: 20240209946Abstract: A tiltable floating lip seal accommodates both radial displacements and axial misalignments between a shaft and a housing bore hole. Flexible axial arms at opposing ends of a seal ring assembly form seals with the housing to accommodate tipping and radial displacement of the shaft. The axial arms can be axial lips that slide against radial housing walls. The axial lips can extend from the seal ring assembly or from separate end rings that form lip seals to both the housing and the seal ring assembly. The axial lips can be energized by springs, such as canted coil springs or petalized U-shaped springs. In other embodiments, the distal ends of the flexible axial arms are fixed to the housing, for example compressed between elements of the housing. Buffer fluid can be introduced through ports to press the axial lips against the shaft or lift them slightly to reduce wear.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 30, 2023Publication date: June 27, 2024Applicant: Flowserve Management CompanyInventors: Bassem Gabra, Joel Taylor, Glenn Robert Owens, JR., Matthew T. Publication number: 20240046286Abstract: A method for enabling technology delivery using a heatmap with a single pane view is provided. The method may include validating and matching entity requirement data, demand forecast confidence and demand variances data. This ensures that each of the foregoing are combined to form a single format demand management heatmap portal. The method may include validating and matching time-to-market requirement data, at-risk projects data and hardware scarcity data. Once validated and matched, the time-to-market requirement data, the at-risk projects data and the hardware scarcity data may be combined to form a supply side capacity heatmap portal.
