The payment transaction request includes a merchant identifier associated with the virtual terminal. The payment transaction data is stored in a database accessible by the secure gateway. The payment transaction data is sent from the secure gateway to be stored by a merchant data capture service in association with the merchant identifier. A customer data portal executing on a customer device retrieves the payment transaction data from the merchant data capture service based on the merchant identifier. The payment transaction data is presented on the customer device by the customer data portal.

Abstract: A cardmember acquisition system and method according to various principles of the invention generally includes an advisement to an existing cardmember to refer-a-friend to apply for a card. The advisement from the host includes an embedded customized URL having a unique ID identifying the cardmember. The host can track and monitor the unique ID back to the cardmember throughout the referral process. In one particular embodiment, a cardmember receives an electronic advisement from the host including the specialized URL. The cardmember forwards the specialized URL to a friend and invites the friend to apply for card membership. The friend completes and submits an application to the host, which includes the unique ID. Upon approval of the application, the cardmember receives notification and an incentive.
