  • Publication number: 20260105232
Abstract: This is an approach for complex circuit design optimization. Custom circuit optimization for complex circuit can require simulations across numerous conditions and quickly becomes intractable. The approach herein may provide a way to generate netlists based on input parameters and organize circuit simulations of the generated netlists to generate an objective function, which an optimization engine can ultimately utilize. Further the approach herein of the complex circuit optimization may include steps to receive a circuit optimization specification input. Generate a plurality of netlists, based on the circuit optimization specification inputs. Organize the plurality of netlists and a plurality of queues for simulation. Simulate the plurality of netlists in each queue by a remote compute node. Combine simulation results into one or more objective function for use by an optimization engine.

  • Publication number: 20260098896
Abstract: A plurality of benchmarking circuits that mimic different types of circuits in a product chip are tested to produce measurements of targets of a semiconductor device in the benchmarking circuits, and measurements of targets of the benchmarking circuits. Computer simulations of the plurality of benchmarking circuits are performed with local layout effect (LLE) evaluation to predict values of the targets of the semiconductor device and the targets of the benchmarking circuit. The measurements and predicted values of the targets are used to perform recalibration of a compact model of the semiconductor device.

  • Publication number: 20260044657
Abstract: A multi-state acquisition function engine is provided for enhancing operation of an optimization tool to optimize a circuit device feature. Running the acquisition function engine facilitates tailoring optimization samples for objective function evaluation. The process includes configuring input parameters for running a genetic algorithm engine based, in part, on a current acquisition function state to tune the genetic algorithm engine based on the state. Further, the process includes running the genetic algorithm engine for one or more generations using the configured input parameters to generate a plurality of candidate samples, and providing selected sample(s) of the plurality of candidate samples to the objective function for generating a respective fitness score for optimizing the circuit design feature. The process further includes selecting, based at least in part on the generated fitness score(s), a new acquisition function state of the acquisition function engine for a next iteration.

  • Publication number: 20250007784
Abstract: Mechanisms are provided for optimization of a collective communication operation. A network graph data structure for a network of computing devices is generated that includes nodes representing computing devices of the network and edges comprising communication links between the computing devices. Each edge of the network graph data structure is weighted based on a multi-dimensional weight comprising network performance characteristics collected from the network. For a specified collective communication operation, and for participant devices of the network that are participating in the specified collective communication operation, a collective communication pattern is determined based on the multi-dimensional weights of the network graph data structure and a type of the collective communication operation. The determined collective communication pattern is returned to one or more of the participant devices which perform the collective communication operation based on the collective communication pattern.

  • Patent number: 11711425
Abstract: According to an aspect, a computer-implemented method for performing distributed communication operations includes receiving a request, by a first computing system, to perform a distributed communication operation and obtaining, by the first computing system, a tree structure for performing the distributed communication operation, wherein the first computing system is a root node of the tree structure. The method also includes creating, by the first computing system, a message having header information and a payload for the distributed communication operation and transmitting, by the first computing system, a portion of the message to each child node of the first computing system, wherein the portion transmitted to each child node is unique.

  • Patent number: 6113387
Abstract: A regenerative shaft kiln having at least two vertical shafts and a plurality of lances for introducing fuel into the kiln, with one or more sensor provided proximate a plurality of the lances, each of the sensors producing a first output signal having a magnitude and corresponding to a physical parameter of the kiln adjacent the sensor. Observation of the operating conditions of individual lances enables adjustments to the fuel feed via individual lances to avoid equipment damage and to improve kiln performance.
