  • Patent number: 11834160
Abstract: An aircraft brake control system accommodates desired yaw for steering, while substantially eliminating undesired yaw. The system assesses brake command signals from the pilot, signals corresponding to aircraft parameters, and signals based on brake control parameters, and determines therefrom an amount of yaw desired by the pilot. The instantaneous yaw rate is monitored and compared to the desired yaw rate. An error signal corresponding to the difference between instantaneous and actual yaw rates is calculated and that error signal is employed to modify a braking differential between right and left brakes to eliminate or substantially reduce the undesired yaw.

  • Publication number: 20230159393
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a gypsum panel and a method of making such gypsum panel. For instance, in one embodiment, the gypsum panel comprises a gypsum core and a first facing material and a second facing material sandwiching the gypsum core, wherein the gypsum core includes gypsum and an alkoxylated compound. In another embodiment, the gypsum panel comprises a gypsum core and a first facing material and a second facing material sandwiching the gypsum core, wherein the gypsum core includes gypsum and a polyol compound and wherein the gypsum panel exhibits a humidified deflection of greater than 0 inches to 0.05 inches. The methods of the present invention are directed to making the aforementioned gypsum panels by providing the first facing material, providing a gypsum slurry comprising gypsum, water, and the respective compound onto the first facing material, and providing the second facing material on the gypsum slurry.

  • Publication number: 20210309571
Abstract: In the present disclosure, a method of forming a gypsum panel is disclosed. The method comprises: providing a first facing material, forming a starch slurry by combining starch and water at a shear rate of 3,000 rpm or more, providing the starch slurry onto the first facing material, depositing a gypsum slurry comprising stucco and water onto the starch slurry on the first facing material, providing a second facing material on the gypsum slurry, and allowing the stucco to convert to calcium sulfate dihydrate.
