  • Publication number: 20240085054
Abstract: A fitting assembly for connection to a flexible duct includes a ferrule configured for insertion into an open end of the flexible duct a fitting removably connected to the ferrule. The ferrule includes a sidewall defining a minor diameter and a major diameter spaced apart from the minor diameter, and a ferrule thread extending radially outward from the sidewall. One of the fitting and the ferrule defines a recess. Another of the fitting and the ferrule comprises a tab configured to extend into the recess. One of the recess and the tab comprises an edge. Another of the recess and the tab comprises a ramped surface extending in a circumferential direction of the ferrule, such that rotation of the ferrule relative to the fitting causes the ramped surface to engage the edge, thereby radially deflecting the tab and disengaging the tab from the recess.

  • Patent number: 11913671
Abstract: An indoor environmental control and air distribution system for a building includes: an air handling unit; a manifold connected to the air handling unit having a chamber formed by a plurality of walls and a plurality of orifices formed through at least one of the walls; air distribution conduits each independently having a first end connected to the orifices of the manifold and a second end extending out from the manifold into different zones throughout the building; and an airflow modulating device having one or more airflow regulating dampers independently configured to move into at least two positions in which each position provides a different percentage of total air volume to each air distribution conduit. A method of using the indoor environmental control and air distribution system is also included.

  • Patent number: 10678327
Abstract: The technology described herein splits the control focus of a user interface during a sustained user interaction. A sustained user interaction is an interaction action lasting more than a threshold period of time. The sustained interaction is initiated when the user directs the control focus of an interface onto an interface object and begins an interaction with the object. Upon determining that a sustained interaction has begun, a control focus lock is executed at the point of control focus where the sustained interaction began, for example, the point where the cursor was located when the sustained interaction began. Upon termination of the sustained interaction, the primary control focus is snapped to the location of the secondary control focus and a secondary control focus is terminated until a subsequent sustained interaction is detected.

  • Patent number: 10460524
Abstract: Technologies are described for providing turning in virtual reality environments. For example, some implementations use roll turning that involves rotating around an outer edge of a control input, some implementations use tap turning to move directly to a location indicated by a control movement, and some implementations involve combinations of roll turning and tap turning.

  • Publication number: 20150086183
Abstract: A system and method are disclosed where users are rewarded and acknowledged for generating content and for remixing (modifying) the user generated content of others. In examples, the content may be levels of a virtual world for a gaming system.
