  • Patent number: 9233233
Abstract: A catheter assembly includes an elongated main body defining two or more longitudinal lumens including distally positioned openings. One or more side-ports are defined in the main body communicating with at least one of the two or more longitudinal lumens. The catheter assembly also includes an inflatable balloon disposed around a portion of the main body. The inflatable balloon includes a distal end disposed substantially adjacent to a proximal side of one or more side-ports. The inflatable balloon in the inflated state is adapted to extend at partially over the one or more side-ports.

  • Patent number: 8306377
Abstract: A loose tube fiber optic cable having at least one optical fiber, a loose tube surrounding the fiber, with the tube having an irregular inner surface. A water swellable powder is provided around the fiber and inside the tube, where the particles of the water swellable powder rest in the irregular inner surface of the tube.

  • Patent number: 6789467
Abstract: The present invention provides systems for the injection delivery of at least two fluid doses to a small bird by penetrating the skin of the recipient bird with at least two injection needles. It is then possible to simultaneously inject drugs, or other fluid vaccines that do not mix well or whose mixture would be detrimental to the stability or efficacy of the active ingredients therein. The present invention provides a novel injection needle support for connecting the injection needles to dose distributors and fluid supply containers while maintaining the injection ends of the injection needles in a substantially parallel arrangement. The injection needle support typically is attached to a carrier connected to an actuator, an actuator power source and a switch mechanism wherein the actuator, when activated, can reciprocally move the carrier and injection support toward and away from an injection position.

  • Patent number: 6343619
Abstract: A two part faucet gauge (20), having a gauge strip (22) with strip indicia (24) and a gauge cover (26) with cover indicia (28) is utilized to reduce the time and water wasted in adjusting water to a desired pressure and temperature. The gauge strip (22) includes a raised lip (40), so that it is attached with suction to a faucet support surface (30). The gauge cover (26) preferably comprises a hollow body (44) configured to receive a faucet knob (32) therein. An operator rotates the knob (32) and cover (26) until selected indicia (24,28) from the strip (22) and cover (26) are aligned. The selected indicia (24,28) correspond to the desired pressure and temperature of the water. In an alternate embodiment, the cover (26A) and strip (22A) comprise adhesively backed sheets.
