  • Patent number: 11957577
Abstract: Embodiments of delivery systems, devices and methods for delivering a prosthetic heart valve device to a heart chamber for expanded implementation are disclosed. More specifically, methods, systems and devices are disclosed for delivering a self-expanding prosthetic mitral valve device to the left atrium, with no engagement of the left ventricle, the native mitral valve leaflets or the annular tissue downstream of the upper annular surface during delivery, and in some embodiments with no engagement of the ventricle, mitral valve leaflets and/or annular tissue located downstream of the upper annular surface by the delivered, positioned and expanded prosthetic mitral valve device.

  • Patent number: 4262373
Abstract: An assembly for covering a swimming pool when it is not in use. A roll member is rotatably mounted at one end of the pool for rolling up and unrolling a sheet of material of dimensions for covering the pool. A scissor type extension device moves the outer end of the sheet toward the other side of the pool when unwinding. The scissor device is moved between the retracted and extended positions by a rotating screw. An electrical motor rotates the screw and the roll member. A slide track mechanism submerges the entire assembly when rolled up.

  • Patent number: 4144097
Abstract: A luminescent solar collector comprising a light transmitting member which carries at least one photovoltaic means, a luminescent member removably attached to the light transmitting member, and interface material between the two members assuring the transmission of light between said members. A method for increasing the efficiency of a luminescent photovoltaic device which contains a luminescent member of reduced efficiency comprising attaching to the low efficiency luminescent member a higher efficiency luminescent member with an interface material, the interface material assuring transmission of light from one luminescent member to the other.
