    Abstract: An aerial weapons handling trailer includes a frame comprising longitudinally extending beams and a cross beam interconnecting the front ends of the longitudinally extending beams. The frame is supported on wheels which are pivotable between positions wherein the trailer is movable longitudinally and positioned wherein the trailer is movable laterally. The wheels include drive motors for positioning the trailer. A plurality of lift arms are pivotally supported on the longitudinally extending beams of the frame and in turn support lift beams. The lift arms include inwardly offset portions, and the lift beams are separated by a distance not greater than the width of a weapons package that is lifted and positioned by the trailer. The lift arms are actuated by hydraulic cylinders which are provided with load lock valves to prevent inadvertent lowering of the load carried by the lift beams.

    Abstract: An auxiliary lift adapter (10) comprises spaced, parallel top load beams (40), bottom load beams (30) positioned beneath the top load beams, and scissors mechanisms (50) for raising and lowering the top load beams (40). Each scissors mechanism (50) comprises an exterior arm (52) pivotally connected to its bottom load beam (30) and slidably connected to its top load beam (40), an interior arm (54) pivotally connected to its top load beam (40) and slidably connected to its bottom load beam (30), and a pin (56) pivotally interconnecting the midpoints of the arms. Hydraulic cylinders (76) are provided for actuating the scissors mechanisms (50) and include safety locking valves for preventing operation of the cylinders in the event of loss of hydraulic pressure.

    Abstract: The invention described is concerned with atomizing an oil fraction of crude oil to provide a fog of oil droplets in diluent gaseous material which is sprayed into an upwardly flowing annular dense mass of catalyst particles to form a high temperature suspension therewith and conveyed through a riser conversion zone under selected hydrocarbon conversion conditions suitable for cracking the oil droplets to gasoline and light cycle oil boiling range products. The oil feed preparation and distribution arrangement to form a suspension with catalyst particles of desired elevated temperature is employed in combination with a two-stage catalyst regeneration operation designed and operated to achieve catalyst temperatures at least equal to the pseudo-critical temperature of the oil feed and at least above the end boiling point of gas oil boiling range material and resid product of vacuum distillation.

    Abstract: An integrated combination of fluid catalytic cracking and hydrocracking select fractions of crude oil and FCC cycle oils to conserve hydrogen process requirements in the production of gasoline is discussed. Liquid products of hydrocracking are separated into low boiling components and a high boiling fraction is recycled to the FCC operation. Select fractions obtained from hydrocracking, FCC and crude oil distillation are upgraded by reforming and alkylation.

F. and above, and a short contact time riser hydrocarbon conversion operation contributing to reducing slurry oil product in favor of lower boiling products is described. A fluid cracking catalyst comprising a special ultrastable crystalline zeolite of high silica to alumina ratio provides hydrothermal stability of acceptable tolerance in the environment employed.

A special external cyclone separator arrangement may be attached to either of the second stage regeneration operation or the riser hydrocarbon conversion operation to effect separation of catalyst particles from gasiform material.

    Abstract: A hydrocarbon conversion-catalyst regeneration process and apparatus is described for converting residual oils and regeneration of catalyst in two separate low and higher temperature regeneration stages stacked one above the other on the same or different vertical axis to provide catalyst at a temperature above the residual feed psuedo-critical temperature. A CO rich flue gas is recovered from the low temperature regeneration stage and a CO.sub.2 rich flue gas is recovered from the higher temperature regeneration stage. The temperature of the catalyst mixed with the residual oil feed is sufficient to obtain substantially complete vaporization of the residual oil charge. A special arrangement of apparatus is provided in the lower portion of a riser conversion zone to obtain the intimate vaporization contact between residual oil feed and the high temperature catalyst charged to the riser.
