    Abstract: A wind operated electrical power generating device mounted on a self-propelled vehicle comprises a wind rotated rotor mounted on a flywheel and at least one generator which is powered by the rotating flywheel. The operative connection between the generator and flywheel, in the preferred embodiment, comprises a wheel mounted on the generator shaft and tracking within a continuous grooved channel formed in the inner or outer periphery of the flywheel.
