  • Publication number: 20020180174
Abstract: A trailer assembly is used with a motor vehicle. The trailer assembly includes a frame that extends between a front end, which is selectively connectable to the motor vehicle, and a back end. The frame defines a frame plane extending therethrough. A fender is fixedly secured to the frame between the front and back ends. The fender extends through a curved path. The trailer assembly also includes a pad that is fixedly secured to the frame and the fender. The pad defines a top surface parallel to the frame plane. The pad allows an operator the ability to step on the pad to elevate himself to a location disposed adjacent the trailer assembly.

  • Patent number: 6310170
Abstract: Compositions comprising a silylated polymer and an adhesion promoter, the silylated polymer having an inorganic or organic backbone and at least two groups thereon selected from alkoxysilyl, aryloxysilyl, alkyloximinosilyl and silanol groups and the adhesion promoter being a silane adhesion promoter of the formula: R1 is a branched or cyclic alkylene group, an arylene group or an alkarylene group, any of which may be optionally interrupted by one or more ether oxygen atoms or a (poly)sulfide bridge, provided that R1 has at least 4 carbon atoms; R2 is an alkyl, aryl or alkaryl radical having 1 to 6 carbons; R3 is a C1 to C6 alkoxy group or a C3 to C5 ketoximato group; R4 is hydrogen, a hydrocarbon group, which may optionally be substituted, or a group which will thermally deblock to form an amine group containing the nitrogen atom to which it is attached; and z is 0 or 1.

  • Patent number: 5990257
Abstract: Silylated polyurethanes exhibiting a superior combination of mechanical properties and which cure in reasonable time to a low-tack sealant, without excessive viscosity, are prepared by reacting a polyol component having terminal unsaturation of less than 0.2 meq/g with a diisocyanate component to form a hydroxyl-terminated prepolymer, and endcapping the prepolymer with an isocyanate silane of the formula OCN--R--Si--(X).sub.m (--OR.sup.1).sub.3-m wherein m is 0, 1 or 2, each R.sup.1 is alkyl containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms, each X is alkyl containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and R is a difunctional organic group.
