The body portion can further include an outer shell portion. A magnetic portion is concealed in the body portion and configured to magnetically attach the golf club head cover to a metallic structure. A magnet identifier is configured to identify a location of the magnetic portion. The magnet identifier separates the magnetic portion and the metallic structure from one another when the magnetic portion is magnetically attached to the metallic structure.
