Abstract: A cloud computing platform provides zero trust network access as a service to customers that maintain applications on-premises. In this context, the cloud computing platform may associate customers and/or applications with specific service proxies, and add an abstraction layer for network access that maps an alias domain for each customer and/or application to a network load balancer associated with the specific service proxies associated with the corresponding application(s). This approach advantageously simplifies the configuration of service proxies at the cloud computing platform by permitting dedicated relationships among network load balancers, specific service proxies, and specific applications, while concurrently reducing or avoiding the administrative burden on customers of updating network pointers when the clusters of service proxies are periodically reconfigured to adjust to varying user traffic.

Abstract: Insulin complexes are stabilized using a ligand that increases binding interactions between the insulin monomers, and particularly between the B-chains of two adjacent insulin monomers. Particularly preferred ligands are polyphenols, and insulin complexes are typically in the R-state and may therefore also include metal cations and a small phenolic compound in a binding site that is distinct from the polyphenol binding site.

Abstract: A pipe system with a first and a second buttress, each buttress including a support tube having a central axis. The support tubes are axially aligned and spaced from one another. The buttress also includes a camming surface. A tubular first and second follower coaxially surround respective support tubes and are axially freely movable and rotatable thereon. The followers are proportioned and arranged to contact the camming surface so as to assume a respective first and second axial location as a function of a first and second rotational position. A pipe link comprises a rigid length of pipe having a length short enough to fit between the follower members when they are at their maximum spacing from one another, and long enough to be trapped by them when they are brought to their minimum spacing. The pipe link can thereby be inserted when the followers are turned so as to move apart from one another and can be trapped and held to form a fluid circuit when they are turned so as to approach one another.

Abstract: A telescoping slip-together tubing joinder wherein a first and a second tube slide together, the second sliding over the first. A guide sleeve is mounted to the first tube and projects beyond it to receive and guide the second tube into the telescoping engagement. The guide sleeve is held to the first tube by a retainer which can be attached and removed by external manipulations.
