  • Publication number: 20230066871
Abstract: A user-interactive tool for configuring a building equipment system includes one or more processors and one or more memory devices having instructions stored thereon that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform operations including receiving a first user input including project information, obtaining equipment configuration data for a plurality of building equipment components capable of being included in the building equipment system based on the project information, receiving a second user input defining a configuration of the building equipment system, generating a predicted metric of the building equipment system based on the project information and the configuration of the building equipment system, displaying the predicted metric and a representative metric of a set of historical building equipment installation projects via a graphical user interface, and adjusting the predicted metric of the building equipment system based on the representative metric.

  • Patent number: 11581838
Abstract: A system for wirelessly transmitting power between a track and independent movers in a motion control system includes a pick-up coil provided proximate to the magnets on the movers. The fundamental component of the voltage applied to the drive coils interacts primarily with the magnetic field generated by the permanent magnets on the movers and not with the pick-up coil. Consequently, the pick-up coil does not interfere with desired operation of the movers but rather, interacts primarily with the harmonic components and has current and voltages induced within the pick-up coil as a result of the harmonic components. The energy captured by the pick-up coil reduces the amplitude of eddy currents on the mover. After harvesting the harmonic content, the pick-up coil may be connected to another circuit on the mover and serve as a supply voltage for the other circuit.

Abstract: A monitoring assembly for an electrochemical cell of a secondary lithium battery includes a porous sensory structure and a transducer. The porous sensory structure includes a sensory layer disposed on a major surface of a porous separator and a buffer layer disposed between the sensory layer and a facing surface of a negative electrode layer. The buffer layer electrically isolates the sensory layer from the facing surface of the negative electrode layer. The sensory layer includes an electrically conductive material and is configured to produce a response to an input signal or to a physical stimulus received within the electrochemical cell. The transducer is configured to process the response produced by the sensory layer to generate an output signal indicative of a diagnostic condition within the electrochemical cell.

  • Patent number: 7485771
Abstract: Amino acid and nucleotide sequences relating to the glutamate dehydrogenase (GDH) enzyme are described. The GDH enzymes described herein were discovered in the alga Chlorella sorokiniana in the form of seven different inducible isoenzymes. These isoenzymes are found in the algae as chloroplast-localized hexamers composed of alpha- and beta-subunits. Plants transformed with nucleotide sequences encoding the alpha- or beta-subunits of the enzyme show improved properties, for example, increased growth and improved stress tolerance. A heterohexamer having both ?- and ?-subunits can have higher aminating:deaminating activity ratio than ?-homohexamers or ?-homohexamers.
