    Abstract: The lighting fixture is adapted to be secured to the outer periphery of a generally vertically disposed column. The fixture is comprised of at least two housing sections which are coupled together with each housing section having a recess on its inner periphery for embracing a portion of the vertically disposed column. Each housing section has a source of illumination for projecting light upwardly through a transparent portion of the top wall of each housing section.
