  • Publication number: 20080315731
Abstract: A flexible and stretchable mounting device for a fan or the like which has a shaft, a series of enlarged undulations axially arranged at one end of the shaft, and a head at one end of the shaft, the mounting device being adapted when stretched for insertion into aligned apertures on a chassis and a frame and relaxed to permit a selected undulation to hold the frame in spaced relation to the chassis. The device also includes a break away grip secured to the head for guiding the device into the apertures when stretched and which can be severed from the head when the device is arranged mounted on the chassis and frame.

  • Publication number: 20050047860
Abstract: A fixing 26 for fixing a circuit board to a housing. The fixing comprising a first connector 10 having an axis, at one end of which is a portion adapted to be connected to a housing, supporting member, circuit board or component. At the other end of the first connector 10 there is a second portion 22 around which is moulded a damping means 12. The fixing further comprises a second connector 28 having an axis at the end of which is a portion adapted to be connected to a housing, supporting member, circuit board or component and at the other end of which is a second portion 22 around which the damping means 12 is moulded, The first is connector 10 is coupled to the second connector 26 by the damping means 12.
