Abstract: A tunable laser assembly housed in a single enclosure and a method of control is described that provides high-speed monitoring and control of the spectral properties of widely tunable lasers, such as MEMS-tunable VCSELs, with an optical configuration that does not introduce perturbations into the swept-source laser output spectrum that would cause artifacts in imaging applications such as optical coherence tomography (OCT).

Abstract: A football table game includes a game table having a football field playing surface, receiver icons spaced from one another over the playing surface, a first set of coin chips used by a team on offense for attempting passes, a second set of coin chips used by a team on defense to defend against the pass, a first die used by the team on offense for attempting a running play, and a second die used by the team on defense for defending against the running play. The table game includes goal posts erected in the end zones and miniature footballs that are flicked through the goal posts during field goal and extra point attempts. The first team to score more than 21 points wins the game.

Abstract: A grill drip guard device prevents drips from soiling a front panel of a grill. The device includes a plate having a first edge, a second edge, and a pair of lateral side edges extending between the first edge and the second edge. A connection flange is coupled to and extends from the first edge of the plate. A coupler is coupled to and extends along the connection flange for coupling the plate to a grill such that the plate extends outwardly from the grill, the second edge of the plate is positioned in spaced relationship to the grill, and the plate extends over a front panel of the grill.

Abstract: A fuel cell separator plate assembly (20) includes a separator plate layer (22) and flow field layers (24, 26). In one disclosed example, the separator plate layer (22) comprises graphite and a hydrophobic resin. The hydrophobic resin of the separator plate layer (22) serves to secure the separator plate layer to flow field layers on opposite sides of the separator plate layer. In one example, at least one of the flow field layers (24, 26) comprises graphite and a hydrophobic resin such that the flow field layer is hydrophobic and nonporous. In another example, two graphite and hydrophobic resin flow field layers are used on opposite sides of a separator plate layer. One disclosed example includes all three layers comprising graphite and a hydrophobic resin.

Abstract: Paste-extruded sulfonamide herbicide compositions having improved spray equipment clean-out properties are made by preparing a mixture comprising a sulfonamide herbicide free acid, at least about 50 equivalent % of an inorganic base relative to the sulfonamide herbicide free acid and sufficient water to form an extrudable paste, extruding the mixture to form an extrudate, and drying the extrudate.

User information can be stored on remote, distributed computer networks to assure that the information is available during a disaster. The computer networks can be web networks and Interactive Voice Response (IVR) networks, to provide different methods of user interaction with the system. In case of disaster, the system can contact the users over one or more communications networks, such as by email or IVR message, and request the user provide their status. The users can send user status updates to the web network using internet enabled devices, such as personal computers, telephones, or handheld portable computers, or to the IVR network using standard or wireless telephones. The system can compile the information, and generate reports on group and individual status.

Abstract: Method of ultrasound intrusion detection is disclosed wherein the ultrasound multi-area volumetric surveillance is being organized to meet properly the correspondent requirements for the defense-in-depth protection of critical objects. All the room around a protected object is being purposely arranged in juxtaposed volumetric areas, which areas are closed or open and do represent respectively the central, short-range and long-range echelons of an entire defense-in-depth protection space. The pertain method of ultrasound detection of either ingress or aggress hazardous intrusion is being realized in each adjacent echelon regarding the specific task, which this very echelon has been commissioned with.

Abstract: In the case of disease in the respiratory organs of creatures, which especially inhabit in terms of overcrowding, the danger of spreading a disease throughout the entire breeding farm is perfectly evident. The use of traditional methods, such as the stethoscope, for examining the respiratory organs of each creature, in the mode of their direct contact listening, is impossible in most due to the specific spatial arrangement of creatures in breeding farms and/or infectious danger to a veterinary. Moreover, the acoustic signs of the said illness at its early stage cannot be heard audibly with use of traditional methods.
