    Abstract: A vacuum bulb for interrupting an electrical circuit, the bulb comprising two electrical poles enabling an electrical connection to be established between the outside and interrupting contacts placed inside the bulb, the body of the bulb being dielectrically reinforced by an outside insulator disposed on the bulb between the two electrical poles, wherein the insulator is constituted by a polymer sheath heat-shrunk directly onto the body of the bulb.
