  • Publication number: 20260102138
Abstract: A device for establishing a fluid communication pathway to a target point in a patient includes a bi-plane ultrasound probe. A transverse plane of the probe identifies a target point in the patient, and a longitudinal plane of the probe is used to monitor 2D ultrasound signals in a segment of an artery extending downstream from the target point. By moving the longitudinal plane to optimize the received 2D ultrasound signals, a pathway to the target point is thus determined for the medical use of arteriotomy needles and/or catheters.

  • Patent number: 9531801
Abstract: A software platform preferably delivered via the internet provides access to and from web-enabled devices with the purpose of delivering and providing software applications, hardware resources, reporting, monitoring, tracking, virtual and cloud computing augmentation, all through a cross-end point unified user-based interface. Resources can be connected dynamically to other resources through the platform and, depending upon the decision of the user and the security settings, resources of the end-point device can be provided to other members in the same network.

  • Publication number: 20060135667
Abstract: A quick drying liquid electrical tape formulation having good shelf life. The formulation forms a durable vinyl coating or film on wires, junctions and objects. The formulation is comprised of at least about 10% of a vinyl material effective to achieve the durable vinyl coating. The formulation further includes a thixotropic agent to add body, a plasticizer to impart flexibility to the vinyl coating and a flame retardant. The vinyl material, thixotropic agent plasticizer and a flame retardant are admixed with solvents comprising at least one drying agent. The formulation further including a stabilizing agent and at least one solvent, such that the thixotropic agent and plasticizer enable the application of a satisfactory coating using the formulation.

  • Patent number: 6991128
Abstract: A disposable beverage container lid that includes a top wall with a drinking opening formed therein, an annular sidewall downwardly depending from the periphery of the top wall for engaging with the rim of a beverage container, a regulator valve formed directly underneath the drinking opening, and wave-breaker and periphery inhibitor recesses formed in the top wall, to greatly minimize accidental splashing of the liquid from the cup. The regulator valve includes side and bottom walls with apertures formed therein, with the apertures including generally taper shaped portions terminating in irregularly shaped edges. The wave-breaker recess has a sidewall portion that reflects waves of liquid from the regulator valve, and a sloped sidewall portion that defines a channel with the annular sidewall in which the regulator valve is disposed. The inhibitor recesses extend down into the channel to prevent waves of liquid traveling therethrough.

  • Patent number: 6905044
Abstract: A disposable beverage container lid that includes a top wall with a drinking opening formed therein, an annular sidewall downwardly depending from the periphery of the top wall for engaging with the rim of a beverage container, a regulator valve formed directly underneath the drinking opening, and wave-breaker and periphery inhibitor recesses formed in the top wall, to allow the user to drink from the cup without removing the lid while greatly minimizing accidental splashing of the liquid from the cup. The regulator valve includes side and bottom walls with apertures formed therein. The wave-breaker recess has a sidewall portion that reflects waves of liquid from the regulator valve, and another sidewall portion that defines a channel with the annular sidewall in which the regulator valve is disposed. The inhibitor recesses extend down into the channel to prevent waves of liquid traveling therethrough.
