    Abstract: A free-standing computer document holder, having a rectangular viewing surface with a front top flange, and supported by right and left quadrilateral side structures having longer rear side edges and shorter front side edges. Due to the unequal length of the front and rear side edges, documents are supported and presented to a computer user at an angle to a work surface, such that the top of a document is above the bottom of the document. The computer document holder is situated above a computer keyboard, and is in front of, and/or over, and/or to the rear of, the keyboard. The computer user can operate the keyboard and/or a mouse while the computer document holder is situated as described. An optional monitor riser may be used to position the monitor such that the computer document holder does not obstruct a full view of the screen.

    Abstract: A label, comprising a label layer and a release layer, for general use in labeling objects. The label layer has a first side and a second side. The first side of the label layer forms a surface for receiving and retaining indicia. On the second side of the label layer, the peripheral edge is coated with a border of adhesive material, termed "primary adhesive material", which may be continuous, or which may have one or more small gaps. Within the peripheral edge border of primary adhesive material, there may be one or more areas of the same primary adhesive material, and one or more areas coated with either no adhesive material or with a weaker adhesive material, or with deadened primary adhesive material.     Abstract: A label for labeling a data storage object, comprising a first layer and a second layer. The first layer has a first side and a second side. The first side of the first layer forms the front side of the label and provides a surface for receiving indicia such as a written description of the contents of the data storage object. The second side of the first layer is substantially and completely covered with a removable bond adhesive. The second layer is a patterned application of a material, which can be an ink or varnish, or a continuous sheetlike layer of material, or another substance which forms a layer when applied to the second side of the first layer. The pattern of the second layer can be a geometrical pattern or a random pattern, or a combination of geometric and random patterns.
