  • Patent number: 11964973
Abstract: Disclosed are compounds of Formula (I): or a salt thereof, wherein: X is CR6 or N; Y is CR3 or N; R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7, and m are defined herein. Also disclosed are methods of using such compounds to inhibit the activity of one or both of diacylglycerol kinase alpha (DGK?) and diacylglycerol kinase zeta (DGK?), and pharmaceutical compositions comprising such compounds. These compounds are useful in the treatment of viral infections and proliferative disorders, such as cancer.

  • Patent number: 9506317
Abstract: A barrier onto the surface of a subterranean formation may be formed by pumping into a wellbore within a well hydrophobically modified polysaccharides. A pressure differential is created between the reservoir pressure and formation pressure within the well. The micellular hydrophobically modified polysaccharides self-align onto the face of the formation to form the barrier. Flow of fluids into the subterranean formation is thereby prohibited.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 1, 2014
Date of Patent: November 29, 2016
    Assignee: BAKER HUGHES INCORPORATED
Inventors: Steven H. Craig, Richard Thomas Koch, Jr., Robert S. Martin
  • Patent number: 9429558
Abstract: A multi-function testing apparatus contains a test cell, a piston positioned within the test cell and an adjustable piston depth-setting rod. The testing apparatus may be used to assess carbon dioxide resistance and hydraulic bonding strength of a set cement as well as to evaluate the self-healing capabilities of a set cement. Testing on the set cement may be conducted at simulated downhole conditions.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 26, 2012
Date of Patent: August 30, 2016

  • Publication number: 20140318783
Abstract: Downhole conditions in a wellbore may be monitored in real time by pumping into the well a sensing treatment fluid which includes a piezoelectric or piezoresistive material and measuring changes in electrical resistivity within the wellbore. The monitoring in real time of the piezoelectric or piezoresistive material enhances the integrity of the wellbore during the setting of the treatment fluid as well as during the lifetime of the well.

  • Patent number: 7709134
Abstract: Microfluidic biofuel cells comprising a bioanode and/or a biocathode are formed using microfluidic principles and soft lithography. The enzymes utilized in the redox reactions at the bioanode and/or the biocathode are stabilized in a micellar or inverted micellar structure. The biofuel cell is used to produce high power densities.

  • Patent number: 7418424
Abstract: A trade finance automation system includes an accounts receivable database receiving and storing invoices issued by one or more prescribed vendors for sales made to specified buyers. A credit limits database contains various credit limits applicable to buyers invoices that are subject to existing third party financing, the credit limits dictated by factors including terms of said third party financing. A credit limits tester performs substantially real time checking of buyers invoices in the accounts receivable database to ensure compliance with the credit limits set forth in the credit limits database for said buyers.
