Abstract: A system for identifying irregularities in behaviors of a non-human animal, the system comprising a processing circuitry configured to: provide a behavioral baseline including first information on regular behaviors of the non-human animal over a given period of time when no irregularities occur; obtain data on a series of consecutively identified behaviors of the non-human animal identified over a second period of time; perform an action upon the data not complying with the behavioral baseline, thereby indicating an irregularity in the non-human animal behavior.

Abstract: Apparatuses and methods thereof to administer and manage a base unit for a handheld medical device are disclosed. In one embodiment, a base unit of the invention is in communication with a handheld medical device. The base unit is configured to provide an electrical connection to a power source to charge a battery of the handheld medical device. The base unit is also configured to perform an update to the operation of the base unit, wherein the update is initiated by the base unit upon receiving from the handheld medical device a data stream with information indicating that an update is contained in the data stream.

Abstract: A method for the fabrication of a double-sided electrical interconnection flexible circuit (200) particularly useful as a substrate for an area array integrated circuit package. A copper matrix with studs (203) is pressed through a dielectric film (201) having a copper layer on the opposite surface, thereby forming an intermediate structure for a flex circuit with self-aligned solid copper vias in a one step process. The contacts are reinforced by plating both surfaces with a layer of copper, and conventional processes are used to complete the circuit patterning.

A circuit having interconnections on one surface and solder ball contact pads on the second surface are interconnected by copper plated from a single surface in order to avoid entrapment of air pockets. In one embodiment, the conductive vias are formed from a copper film which extends from the solder ball contact pads, which may be indented, providing a well for solder balls in the contact pad.

The system includes an elongated container and a length of flexible sheet material stored in the container. The sheet material can be withdrawn from the container, placed over the object, and then secured to the ground on opposite sides of the object.
