  • Publication number: 20230355053
Abstract: A suction tool for a vacuum cleaner includes an outlet for connection to a vacuum cleaner; a main inlet in fluid communication with the outlet via a main suction passage; and an auxiliary inlet in fluid communication with the outlet via an auxiliary suction passage. The auxiliary suction passage includes a flow limiting device which is movable between first and second configurations, the flow limiting device obstructing air flow through the auxiliary suction passage to a greater extent when in the second configuration than when in the first configuration. The flow limiting device is configured to move to the second position in response to the pressure within the main suction passage dropping beneath a predetermined threshold.

  • Patent number: 10646084
Abstract: A vacuum cleaner comprising a separating apparatus comprising a first cyclonic separator and a second cyclonic separator arranged in parallel with the first cyclonic separator, an airflow generator arranged to generate an airflow through the first and second cyclonic separators, and a flow control device for controlling the flow of air through the second cyclonic separator. The vacuum cleaner has a first configuration in which the flow control device is arranged to prevent flow of air through the second cyclonic separator such that, in use, air flows through the first cyclonic separator and bypasses the second cyclonic separator, and a second configuration in which the flow control device is arranged to permit flow of air though the second cyclonic separator such that, in use, air flows through the first and second cyclonic separators.

  • Patent number: 7155419
Abstract: An agreement management system for organizing information around agreements and chains of agreements. The system includes an agreement database and notes database for storing agreements and information directly related to those agreements. The system further includes a set of forms for use in negotiating an agreement, modifying an existing agreement and managing the performance of an existing agreement. The system supports agreement chains which permit the linking of pairs of agreements such that the customer of one of the linked agreements is a supplier to a customer of another of the linked agreements. Templates that permit the simple reuse of agreement chains are also supported by the system. A number of ancillary databases, such as a contacts database, a correspondence database, a folders database, a reminders database and a notebook database give the system the flexibility to record additional information both related to the agreements and unrelated to the agreements.
