  • Patent number: 12352111
Abstract: A drilling jig assembly includes a hub unit that has a receiver and a plurality of spokes and the receiver engages a kelly bar of a drilling rig. A plurality of bolt jigs is each coupled to a respective one of the spokes on the hub unit to receiving a respective one of a plurality of bolts of a bolt cage. A plurality of yoke supports is each slidably disposed on a respective one of the spokes of the hub unit such that each of the yoke supports is spaceable an adjustable distance from the receiver of the hub unit. Each of the yoke supports can be attached to a concrete form surrounding the bolt cage thereby facilitating the concrete form to be maneuvered by the drilling rig when the receiver of the hub unit is attached to the drilling rig.

  • Publication number: 20080000777
Abstract: An apparatus and method for plating a workpiece. The apparatus comprises, generally, an anode, a cathode, and a selective anode shield/material flow assembly. In use, both the anode and the cathode are immersed in a solution, and the cathode is used to support the workpiece. During an electroplating process, the anode and the cathode generate an electric field emanating from the anode towards the cathode, to generate a corresponding current to deposit an electroplating material on the workpiece. The selective shield/material flow assembly is located between the anode and the cathode, and forms a multitude of adjustable openings. These opening have sizes that are adjustable during the electroplating process for selectively and controllably adjusting the amount of electric flux passing through the selective shield/material flow assembly and the distribution of the electroplating material on the workpiece. The selective shield/material flow assembly can also be used with an electroless plating system.

  • Patent number: 5751303
Abstract: A hot melt ink jet printer capable of handling 54 inch media widths and printing at a minimum resolution of 300 dots per inch. The ink jet printer of the present invention includes a printing medium handling system for transporting the printing medium through the printer. The printing medium handling system includes a paper tensioning system for maintaining a constant tension in the printing medium as the printing medium is advanced past the print heads for imaging and also subsequently as the printing medium is post-image heated. A readable/writable memory unit accompanies the supply of printing medium and provides information indicative of the color characteristics, handling characteristics, and/or related characteristics associated with the printing medium for use by a controller at each important control point of the paper path.

  • Patent number: 4796990
Abstract: The device includes a camera having first and second imaging mediums. Polarized illumination is directed toward the camera from a screen mounted behind the foreground object. The foreground object blocks some polarized light from reaching the camera. Unpolarized light illuminates the foreground object, and the light reflects from the foreground object to the camera. A prism in the camera reflects polarized light to the first imaging medium and transmits the orthogonal components from the foreground object to the second imaging medium. The image received by the first imaging medium is combined with a background scene, and the image received by the second imaging medium is added to the combined image of the first imaging medium and the background scene.
