  • Publication number: 20060205604
Abstract: A method of increasing shale formation stability with a water based drilling fluid, the method including: delivering to the shale formation a drilling fluid formulated to include an aqueous fluid; a first reactant which is a soluble monomer, oligomer, or polymer with exposed ketone, aldehyde, or aldol groups or with groups which can be shifted to ketone or aldehyde functionality; and, a second reactant which is a primary amine, diamine, or polyamine which by condensation reaction forms a semi-soluble or precipitated filming product with the first reactant.
    Type: Application

  • Patent number: 4747765
Abstract: A mobile tire curing unit having top and bottom mold halves interconnectable in releasable manner so as to define an annular chamber for receiving a green tire, with one of the mold halves incorporating a closed circuit for a given curing media supply under pressure, the circuit being defined by a deformable curing bladder, designed to occupy the annular chamber, and by a casing connectd to the inner tube by a heated supply duct and a return duct; the casing also housing a powered fan for circulating the curing media inside the closed circuit, and the circuit being externally chargeable via an inlet valve.

  • Patent number: 4454000
Abstract: A motorized tool for joining self adhesive plies of unvulcanized rubber, the tool having a pincer-like structure provided with resilient means for urging a portion of a first arm of the pincer itself towards a portion of a second arm; the said portions supporting pairs of rolling bodies facing one another, and the rolling bodies carried by the said first arm being constituted by two discs converging towards one another and towards the other arm and provided with a peripheral crown of teeth meshing with one another, with one of said discs also meshing with an output pinion of a motor mounted within the said first arm.

  • Patent number: 4336760
Abstract: An earthworking implement comprising a frame on which are supported front wheels, rear wheels and a rearmost dolly wheel. An aerator member with blades is rotatably secured to the frame between the front and rear wheels. The dolly wheel is mounted on the frame for rotation about a vertical axis at a location rearwards of the rear wheels. The front wheels and the dolly wheel represent endmost wheels on the frame. One of the endmost wheels is vertically movable with respect to the frame between raised and lowered positions, such that in the raised position the front wheels and dolly wheel define a common tangential plane which is at a level above the blades of the aerator member and below the rear wheels thereby establishing an operative aerating position whereas in the lowered position the front wheels and dolly wheel define a common tangential plane which is at a level below the aerator member and the rear wheels thereby establishing a transport position.
