  • Publication number: 20090313833
Abstract: A material trimmer for trimming sheet material having a blade slidingly engageable with the sheet material along a cut line and a cut line projector operable to create a cut line indicator indicative of the approximate location of the cut line. The projector provides for a ready and correct orientation of the sheet material within the material trimmer. The projector includes a light bar mounted to the base of the material trimmer. When activated, the light bar creates an illuminated cut line indicator that is projected onto the material being cut. The illuminated cut line indicator illustrates location where the material trimmer will trim the material placed on the base of the material trimmer.

  • Publication number: 20080010839
Abstract: A rotary cutter, comprising a body, a trigger and an actuator member. The body includes a rear end and a forward end, the forward end including a cylindrical head. The trigger is rotatably connected at one end thereof to the rear end of the body, and the actuator member is also rotatably connected to the body. The actuator member is in at least selective contact with the trigger such that rotation of the trigger results in a reciprocal rotation of the actuator member. A blade assembly is removably coupled to the actuator member and is configured to move between a retracted position and an extended position. Actuation of the trigger results in the blade assembly moving towards the extended position. When the blade assembly is in the extended position, the blade assembly is capable of contacting a cutting surface.

  • Publication number: 20070119911
Abstract: A composite standoff is formed on a circuit board during the processing of the circuit board while an array of electrical circuit traces including contact pads are formed, portions of the electrical circuit traces are covered by a solder mask, and legend ink is applied to the circuit board for locating electronic components on the circuit board without any need for an additional step.

  • Publication number: 20070114501
Abstract: A pulling tool for pulling nails, screws, rivets, pegs, or other protrusions includes a jaw which may be opened to receive the head of the protrusion. The jaw is then at least partially closed against the protrusion, and when the handle of the tool is pulled, the jaw is both urged shut and also away from the surface from which the protrusion extends. Thus, as the protrusion is pulled, its shaft is also more tightly grasped, which helps to pull the protrusion from the surface without stripping off its head/cap. The pulling tool can be provided as a part of a hammer, crowbar, or other conventional tool.
