  • Patent number: 11135326
Abstract: Stable, aqueous solutions of chlorine dioxide and methods for producing stable, aqueous solutions of chlorine dioxide are disclosed. Generally, the chlorine dioxide solutions of the invention are aqueous solutions containing about 1000 ppm by weight or less of total impurities and/or 10 ppm or less of manganese and iron combined. The aqueous chlorine dioxide solutions are storage stable for at least 90 days at 25° C. and maintain at least 75% of the initial chlorine dioxide concentration. Methods of preparing, using and transporting the chlorine dioxide solutions are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 10758274
Abstract: This disclosure describes a variety of transitional or terminal components that may be implanted as part of a spinal fixation construct to decrease the potential for subsequent development of junctional disease. The fixation construct may extend any number of levels from a single level construct to a long construct spanning multiple spinal levels and multiple spinal regions from the lumbosacral to cervical regions, and with any variety of combination of anchors, rods, and connectors. Terminal and/or transitional components may be utilized at the caudal and or cephalad ends of the fixation construct to reduce stresses endured by the construct adjacent pathology and prevent or reduce incidence and degree of junctional disease.

  • Patent number: 9580317
Abstract: The present invention is for extremely pure solutions of chlorine dioxide, methods for making such solutions and to compositions and methods for storing, shipping and using such solutions. Generally, the chlorine dioxide solutions of the invention are aqueous solutions containing about 2500 ppm or less of total impurities. The chlorine dioxide solution can be prepared by passing dilute highly pure chlorine gas through a bed of substantially solid sodium chloride and contacting the resulting chlorine dioxide gas with a liquid.

  • Patent number: 9517099
Abstract: A pedicle screw locking system includes a reduction tube and a locking driver. The reduction tube includes an inner shaft, a pair of grips, a reduction sleeve, and a rotatable tube. The inner shaft has a threaded end and reduction arms distally extending from the threaded end. Each grip of the pair of grips has a finger configured to engage the receiver of a pedicle screw. The reduction sleeve and the rotatable tube are disposed over and coaxially aligned with the inner shaft. The rotatable tube is coupled to the reduction sleeve. The rotatable tube moves the reduction sleeve relative to the reduction arms. The locking driver includes a threaded portion and a blunt tip. The threaded portion is configured to thread into threads in the receiver of the pedicle screw until the blunt tip locks the receiver of the pedicle screw.

  • Publication number: 20050056338
Abstract: A fluid control and gas delivery assembly and method for containing, receiving and storing hazardous fluids and for dispensing gas comprising a container, a fluid fill path, a gas dispensing path, a first shut-off valve, a pressure reducer, a fluid flow restrictor, a second shut-off valve and a fluid outlet connector. The first shut-off valve is positioned in said gas dispensing path upstream of a pressure reducer. A fluid flow restrictor downstream of the pressure reducer has a fluid flow restriction path configured to restrict the flow of the fluid delivered to the fluid flow restrictor at the delivery pressure to a maximum mass flow rate that is equal to or less than the allowable mass flow rate standard for the hazardous fluid. The second shut-off valve is positioned in said gas dispensing path downstream of said pressure reducer.
