Abstract: Axles and spindle assemblies for wheeled vehicles. More particularly, in at least one embodiment, this invention relates to a substantially curvilinear axle for wheeled vehicles, alone or in combination with a spindle assembly, having a substantially continuous radius of curvature extending from one end of the axle to the other. In at least one additional embodiment, this invention relates to fabricated spindle assemblies having gusset arms for mechanical attachment to axle ends.

Abstract: An improved process for permanently attaching an overlay to a wheel disc, wherein the overlay is aligned and spaced apart from the wheel disc. A mold is created by a combination of the overlay, wheel disc and localized nests that engage at predetermined times during foam filling to close the mold. The mold is adequately sealed so that there is no foam leakage as the foam expands to fill the mold and, therefore, no final trimming of excess foam is required. The improved process is capable of accommodating a wheel having turbine openings therein.

Abstract: A roller assembly for a sheet material transport assembly is disclosed, wherein skewing of the transported sheet material relative to the transport assembly is reduced. The roller assembly includes an elongate shaft having a compliant layer disposed about the shaft. A relatively non-compliant layer is disposed about the compliant layer to form a tire, wherein the non-compliant layer has a circumference, which is substantially unchanged upon operable loading of the roller assembly.
