  • Publication number: 20230392379
Abstract: A gutter guard apparatus that is configured to superposed the upper opening of a conventional gutter wherein the present invention inhibits debris from entering the gutter and further prevents ice accumulation or build-up in the gutter passage. The present invention includes a body wherein the body has a bottom with opposing sidewalls contiguously formed therewith. The bottom of the body includes a plurality support wall members extending upwards therefrom. The support wall members form longitudinal channels wherein the longitudinal channels have a plurality of apertures formed in the bottom thereof. A fascia sealing member is operably coupled to the body proximate the first longitudinal sidewall. A heating element channel is present adjacent to the second longitudinal sidewall and is configured to receive an retain therein a heating element. A cover member is superposed the heating element channel. A screen mesh member is located across the opening of the body.

  • Patent number: 10302107
Abstract: An exemplary fastening system includes, among other things, a first component providing a first aperture, a second component providing a second aperture, and a fastener. The fastener has a shaft extending from a head. The shaft extends along an axis through the first aperture and the second aperture to clamp the first component axially between the head and the second component. A compressible sleeve distributed about the shaft is compressed radially by the first component. An exemplary fastening method includes moving a shaft of a fastener along an axis through an first aperture in a first component into a second aperture in a second component, and compressing at least a portion of compressible sleeve radially with the first component. The compressible sleeve is distributed about the shaft. The method further includes clamping the first component between a head of the fastener and the second component.

  • Patent number: 9262713
Abstract: Methods and systems for optimizing wellbore completion and, in particular, methods and systems for optimizing hydraulic fracturing parameters are disclosed. In some embodiments, a method of optimizing wellbore completion includes gathering wellbore data, screening and processing the gathered wellbore data, utilizing the screened and processed wellbore data to define an optimized model, and utilizing the optimized model to evaluate combinations of available wellbore completion parameters. In some instances, the optimized model is defined using artificial neural networks, genetic algorithms, and/or boosted regression trees. Further, in some embodiments the combinations of available wellbore completion parameters include hydraulic fracturing parameters, such as number of fractures, fracturing fluid type, proppant type, fracturing volume, and/or other parameters.

  • Publication number: 20060092766
Abstract: Production of a well is predicted by associating log profiles for wells in a reservoir to production indicators for wells in the reservoir. A log for the well is matched to a corresponding log profile. The log profiles may each be generated by clustering logs for wells in the reservoir. The log profiles and logs may include magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and/or other suitable data.
