  • Publication number: 20150218760
Abstract: A freeway cloverleaf and transit cloverleaf, and system, having preferred embodiments that offer one or more of these advantages: reduced congestion and/or “weaving” in the immediate vicinity of the intersection of the two freeway routes; means for transit vehicles—and more generally all passenger carrying vehicles—to proceed to proximate transfer locations, which may be situated above the intersection, or which may be linked by elevated walkways, such that people need move only a short distance to complete a transfer from one route to another; facilitates ride sharing, car pooling and “park-and-ride,” including but not limited to scenarios where people drive to a transit facility with parking, and can complete a trip—often commuting to work—using transit; facilitates more efficient transit vehicle use, including switching among larger or smaller transit vehicles based on projected and/or real-time consumer demand; connects people and vehicles with surrounding neighborhoods, including retail and other busines

  • Publication number: 20100301190
Abstract: A modular edge form system for cast in place suspended concrete slabs, comprising wood or metal edge forms that close gaps between joists when a row of joists is above vertical supporting structures. The edge forms may depend on joists directly, or by means of wood edge form support structures; the joists in turn depend on joist hangers. Areas in front of the butt ends of joists are covered by means comprising the use of notch cover plates and/or bendable notch cover rectangles. The edge form system contains and supports cast-in-place horizontal concrete structures when they are poured and while they cure.

  • Publication number: 20100294177
Abstract: The present invention is a modular computer workstation system, comprising a frame structure having two frame structure sides with curved bottoms. Each side has a handle, a higher back vertical side, and a lower front vertical side. The curved bottoms allow the frame structure to rock, and to be non-rigid. The frame structure has: a front horizontal support having an upper surface and a perpendicular front flange, and a back horizontal support. When modular document support and other support elements are placed on the frame structure, the document surface is at an angle with respect to the horizontal surface on which the frame structure typically will rest. The present invention further comprises a plurality of document support elements, and other elements and devices a computer workstation user may wish to situate.
