  • Publication number: 20240144043
Abstract: A method for training a machine-learning module of a computer-implemented prediction model for predicting product quality parameter values for one or more quality parameters of a chemical product produced by a chemical production plant. The production plant includes a plurality of sensors, each of which is configured to acquire process parameter values for one or more process parameters of a chemical process carried out by the production plant for producing the chemical product during operation of the production plant. A priori information about the production plant and the process carried out by the production plant is used, including chronological sequence information about a chronological sequence of the process carried out within the production plant, for which sensors sensor-specific time shifts between an acquisition time of training process parameter values and a production time of a product unit, during the production of which the corresponding training process parameter value was acquired.

  • Publication number: 20240145055
Abstract: Systems and methods provide for implementation of a messaging protocol that provides security necessary for clinical messaging while also providing scalability needed to properly function within a clinical setting. The messaging protocol provides for federation of messages across messaging domains with a direct target address or via a role or group endpoint address that resolves to one or more target addresses. The messaging protocol also provides the ability to include content other than text in messages.

  • Patent number: 7685064
Abstract: A system and method for evaluating financial transactions, which may involve credit requests, is provided. Credit requests are categorized into three tiers: the third-tier is for requests capable of being processed by computers, the second-tier is for requests that meet predefined criteria and cannot be categorized as third-tier requests, and the first-tier is for requests that cannot be categorized as second-tier or third-tier requests. The first-tier requests are manually reviewed by a credit executive. The second-tier requests are delegated to more junior credit personnel via an inventive pre-approval procedure. The third-tier requests are processed, at least in part, by computers. Additionally, requests that exceed a credit line, or limit, may be approved by reallocating credit from other credit lines.

  • Patent number: 5840153
Abstract: A two-step press type transfer operation is made practical by a particular rendering of pictorializations for use upon the transfer sheets. A pictorialization should have a major portion of some object in the center of the pictorialization or a portion of a pictorialization in which a segmentation or division of such pictorialization is to be made so that one portion of the pictorialization may be placed upon one transfer sheet and a second portion of the pictorialization placed upon a second transfer sheet. Substantial straight linear portions of such pictorialization of this area are avoided and the division between the two portion of the image are run along nonlinear borders upon the edge of clearly defined structures within the pictorialization.
