  • Patent number: 11922645
Abstract: Disclosed is a system and method for operating an imaging system. The imaging system may move or be moved to acquire image data of a subject at different positions relative to the subject. The image data may, thereafter, be combined to form a single image.

  • Publication number: 20240071593
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed that provide smart alerts to users, e.g., alerts to users about diabetic states that are only provided when it makes sense to do so, e.g., when the system can predict or estimate that the user is not already cognitively aware of their current condition, e.g., particularly where the current condition is a diabetic state warranting attention. In this way, the alert or alarm is personalized and made particularly effective for that user. Such systems and methods still alert the user when action is necessary, e.g., a bolus or temporary basal rate change, or provide a response to a missed bolus or a need for correction, but do not alert when action is unnecessary, e.g., if the user is already estimated or predicted to be cognitively aware of the diabetic state warranting attention, or if corrective action was already taken.

  • Patent number: 11816217
Abstract: Certain embodiments described herein relate to methods and systems for detecting unexpected behavior associated with a process. In certain embodiments, a method comprises receiving a memory allocation request, the request indicating one or more memory segments to be allocated in memory of a computing system. The method further comprises allocating the one or more memory segments in the memory based on the memory allocation request. The method further comprises allocating one or more decoy memory segments in the memory based on the memory allocation request. The method further comprises trapping an input/output (I/O) operation. The method further comprises detecting an unexpected behavior associated with the I/O operation based on determining that the I/O operation impacts at least one of the one or more decoy memory segments. The method further comprises performing one or more actions based on the detection.

  • Patent number: 11687545
Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems, and articles of manufacture are disclosed for conversation context profiles for use with queries submitted using social media. An example apparatus includes at least one memory, instructions, and at least one processor to execute the instructions to identify a first cloud computing resource based on an electronic message including a query, generate a conversation context profile based on overlapping attributes from at least one of a user, group, or service profile associated with the query, generate a search scope of the query to constrain first search information associated with a cloud computing system to the overlapping attributes, in response to determining that the user profile does not include the first cloud computing resource, grant access to at least one of the first cloud computing resource or second search information based on the conversation context profile, and provide one or more search results based on the search scope.

  • Patent number: 11662508
Abstract: In some implementations, an optical assembly comprises an optical cavity; one or more detectors; and an optical component having an input face and an output face configured to receive an input beam to the input face and to produce one or more primary output beams, and a plurality of secondary output beams from the output face, the secondary output beams resulting from multiple internal reflections within the optical component. At least one of the input face is not perpendicular to the input beam or the output face is not perpendicular to the one or more primary output beams. Each primary output beam is transmitted through the optical cavity perpendicular to at least one surface of the optical cavity, and directed to a respective one of the one or more detectors. Each detector is arranged to exclude at least a portion of each secondary output beam.

  • Publication number: 20230118162
Abstract: Composite anti-fouling coatings and associated systems and methods are generally described. In some aspects, a system comprises a substrate, a composite coating disposed on at least a portion of the substrate, and a fluid comprising one or more foulants, where the composite coating is configured to be in physical contact with the fluid during use. The composite coating may comprise a first region comprising a first material and a second region comprising a second material that is different from the first material. According to some embodiments, a full- spectral Hamaker constant associated with the composite coating and the fluid (i.e., based on average optical properties of the first and second materials of the composite coating) is relatively low, and the van der Waals (vdW) force between the composite coating and the one or more foulants is, therefore, correspondingly low. Under some conditions (e.g.

  • Patent number: 10986963
Abstract: A barbecue cooking apparatus is an apparatus used to cook food items by utilizing different barbecue smoking methods. The apparatus includes a barrel, a lid, a frame, a shelved cooking system, a venting system, a winch mechanism, a lip, and a firebox gasket. The barrel provides a thermal enclosure for cooking the food items. The lid serves to close the barrel and to support the shelved cooking system. The lip and the firebox gasket seal the lid on the barrel when closed. The shelved cooking system holds both the food items within the barrel during the cooking process and the fuel source utilized to generate the heat energy to cook the food items. The frame holds the winch mechanism offset from the barrel. The winch mechanism facilitates the retrieval of the shelved cooking system from the barrel as well as the reintroduction of the shelved cooking system into the barrel.
