Publication number: 20160151923Abstract: Disclosed is a hair clipper with a moveable guard. The guard is moveably coupled to a clipper body of the hair clipper, such that the distance between the guard and a set of blades is adjustable. The distance between the guard and the set of blades determines how close the set of blades gets to the skull, which determines how short the hair is cut. The distance between the guard and the set of blades on the disclosed hair clipper is adjustable using control buttons on the clipper body. Activating one of the control buttons moves the guard a specific distance from the set of blades. This allows the user of the hair clipper to adjust the distance between the guard and the set of blades by pressing a control button, instead of by removing and replacing guards on the clipper.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 13, 2015Publication date: June 2, 2016Inventor: Justin Robert Sisson

Publication number: 20120074033Abstract: A modular spill containment mat having a pan element and a support grating overlay. The pan element has one or more support beams under the grating to support a vehicle. A sidewall drain is provided, as well as openings in the grating for vacuum hose extraction. Each containment mat may be connected to one or more adjacent mats to form a larger mat. The containment mat may be used to prevent spills during refueling of vehicles.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 9, 2011Publication date: March 29, 2012Applicant: SISSONS ENTERPRISES CORP.Inventor: Robert SISSONS
-
Publication number: 20070257236Abstract: A liquid borne emulsion of varying formulations comprising a powdered metal in a base liquid incorporating a thickening agent component is adapted to a specific metal and type of electrical connection in a specific environment to enhance the electrical conductivity at the electrical connection, reducing the effect of the environment over time of the metals within the electrical connection, increasing the surface area of the electrical connection, reducing the effect of vibration upon the electrical connection to prevent separation and loss of contact to the electrical connection and reducing the signal noise generated by metal to metal movement resulting from an imperfect contact in an electrical connection.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 12, 2007Publication date: November 8, 2007Inventor: Robert Sisson
-
Publication number: 20070150754Abstract: A postal security device (PSD) includes a microprocessor including an internal random access memory (RAM) and an internal flash memory in which is stored at least one secure datum, and at least one external memory coupled to the microprocessor in which is stored at least one non-secure datum and not one of the at least one secure datum.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 22, 2005Publication date: June 28, 2007Inventors: Steven Pauly, Robert Arsenault, Gary Jacobson, George Monroe, Walter Baker, Wesley Kirschner, Robert Sisson, Sung Chang, Elaine Cristiani

Publication number: 20070067633Abstract: A method of managing an inventory of secure coprocessors and processing a plurality of transaction requests in a distributed system having one or more data centers. The method includes maintaining a secure coprocessor control list that includes information identifying one or more of the secure coprocessors, receiving the secure coprocessor control list and one of the transaction requests at one of the data centers, and providing the secure coprocessor control list and the transaction request to a particular secure coprocessor located at the data center. The method further includes allowing the particular secure coprocessor to fulfill the transaction request only if (i) the secure coprocessor control list is able be verified, (ii) the secure coprocessor control list is determined to be fresh, and (iii) information identifying the particular secure coprocessor is included in the information on the secure coprocessor control list.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 21, 2005Publication date: March 22, 2007Applicant: Pitney Bowes IncorporatedInventors: Steven Pauly, Robert Sisson

Patent number: 6946960Abstract: Tamper detecting enclosures are described. In one configuration, an inflated balloon at least partially surrounds a module in an enclosure and biases at least one normally opened switch into a closed position during normal operation. If an attacker attempts to attack the enclosure, the balloon should at least partially deflate and cause the switch to return to its normally opened position thereby detecting the attack. In another configuration, the balloon is adhered to the inside wall of the outer enclosure.Type: GrantFiled: December 28, 2002Date of Patent: September 20, 2005Assignee: Pitney Bowes Inc.Inventors: Robert Sisson, Ralph A. Rapillo, George M. Macdonald

Patent number: 6543834Abstract: A flip top locking topper for a pickup truck having a forward wall and a shell. A hinge support is rigidly attached to a forward end of the pickup box along with the forward wall. The shell, attached to the hinge support by one or more hinges, pivots to open and closed positions. A lift mechanism, such as a hydraulic cylinder, linear actuator, or mechanical screw operates to open and close the shell. One end of the lift mechanism can be attached to a lower position on the hinge support. The other end is attached to an inside top surface of the shell. One or more lock blocks are positioned on a lower edge of the sidewalls of the shell. As the shell is lowered, the lock blocks engage and enter stake bed opening on the truck bed sidewalls. From the closed position, the lift mechanism first lifts a forward edge from the forward wall, the pushed the shell rearward to disengage or unlock the lock blocks, and then the shell is pivoted upwards.Type: GrantFiled: August 24, 2001Date of Patent: April 8, 2003Inventor: Daniel Robert Sisson
