  • Publication number: 20240427718
Abstract: Communication bus systems have at least one twisted wire pair cable used as a physical medium. Such communication bus systems require bus termination at least at the end point bus nodes. Often the communication bus system includes a plurality of equitable bus nodes which are connected to the communication bus. A bus node includes an interface circuit to a communication bus. The interface circuit includes a bus termination circuit arrangement which includes at least a connection arrangement to at least one configuration component. In this way, it is easy to activate/deactivate bus termination for the single bus node by placing the configuration component manually in the manufacturing process.

  • Publication number: 20240308445
Abstract: A system includes multiple drive modules, each for at least one actuator of a wheel or an axle of a vehicle. Each drive module has a bus interface for connecting to a bus, a switching signal input and a switching signal output. The drive module is configured to operate in an operating mode and a learning mode. The drive module has a switch and is configured to use the switch in the operating mode to conductively connect the switching signal input to the switching signal output and, after a transition from the operating mode to the learning mode, to interrupt the connection between the switching signal input and the switching signal output. The drive modules are connected in series via the switching signal inputs and switching signal outputs.

  • Patent number: 11959547
Abstract: A sensor arrangement (46) for an automated transmission includes multiple axially parallel shift rails (4, 14, 24, 34) being axially displaceable by associated shift actuators (8, 18, 28, 38). The sensor arrangement (46) has multiple displacement sensors (48, 56, 64, 72) made up of a signal transmitter (50, 58, 66, 74) attached to a shift rail and a signal receiver (52, 60, 68, 76) fixedly arranged on a housing. The signal transmitters are in the form of a permanent magnet, and the signal receivers are in the form of a 3D Hall sensor. To detect an external magnetic interference field, which can corrupt the sensor signals from the displacement sensors (48, 56, 64, 72), the signal transmitters (50, 58, 66, 74) have identical axial alignments of their magnetic poles, and the signal receivers (52, 60, 68, 76) are in a common plane (80) that is horizontal in their installation position.

  • Patent number: 11381183
Abstract: A compressor system for generating compressed air for a compressed air supply system in a vehicle. The compressor system includes a brushed direct current electric motor (BDC electric motor); a compressor configured to be driven by the BDC electric motor; and a control unit for controlling the BDC electric motor and allocated to the BDC electric motor so as to delimit an operating current of the electric motor. A free-running current path is allocated to the control unit, the free-running current path being configured to delimit the operating current of the electric motor in a variable manner. A switch controller is allocated to the control unit, the switch controller being configured to specify a switched-on time period (t_ON) and/or a switched-off time period (t_OFF) for the electric motor in a variable manner.

  • Patent number: 11156220
Abstract: A compressor for producing compressed air, in particular for a compressed air supply system of a vehicle, includes an electric motor in the form of a brushed direct current electric motor. The compressor has at least one first and one second compressor step, which can be driven by the electric motor. The motor can be controlled by means of an electronic control module of a control device by limiting an operational flow of the motor.

  • Patent number: 6538428
Abstract: A measurement method for a mechatronics apparatus, which includes an electromagnetically actuated component, an electronic control circuit, and at least one sensor, is selectively timed to minimize electromagnetic interference between the electromagnetically actuated component and the sensor(s). This is accomplished by restricting a sensor measurement to a time window, during which time the electromagnetically actuated component either has no current flow, or has a current change magnitude that is lower than a predetermined limit.

  • Patent number: 6234493
Abstract: A level control system controls the distance between the vehicle axles and the vehicle frame of a vehicle. The suspension is a full or partial air suspension, wherein the vehicle frame over the vehicle axles is supported via air suspension bellows. A vehicle inclination, i.e. a non-parallel alignment between vehicle frame and one or more of vehicle axles may occur as a result of various situations which may be dramatically different from one another. Uneven support of the vehicle represents one cause of vehicle inclination, for example, when one wheel of a vehicle axle is standing on the sidewalk. In order to avoid air losses, a vehicle level is not compensated for while the vehicle is stopped. Instead, the existing inclination is maintained and is entered into the control system as a target level. All level changes which occur due to changes in the load of the vehicle are compensated for by means of this prescribed target value.
