Publication number: 20240057691Abstract: The present disclosure provides an aerosol delivery device comprising an aerosol canister containing pressurized aerosol, a metering valve, a mouthpiece, and an actuating assembly located in the mouthpiece. The actuating assembly comprises a button and an actuator and is configured to transform a button force applied to the button along a first path into an actuating force applied to the actuator along a second path, the first and second paths being noncollinear so as to actuate the metering valve to release at least a portion of the pressurized aerosol from the canister through the mouthpiece. In some implementations, the button and the actuator may comprise respective gear racks, and the actuating assembly may further include at least one pinion gear configured to engage the respective button and actuator gear racks. The actuating assembly may also include a nozzle insert configured to create a desired ejection pattern through the mouthpiece.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 19, 2022Publication date: February 22, 2024Inventors: Vahid Hejazi, William Eugene Rabbitt, Robert Soreo

Patent number: 11445712Abstract: A grip assembly configured for fixing a reel to a fishing rod includes a front seat grip non-movably fixable to a fishing rod, a gear rack on the front seat grip, a sliding grip movably fixable to the fishing rod and configured to slide in an axial direction of the fishing rod so as to selectively engage the front seat grip, a lever pivotally connected to the sliding grip, and at least one tooth provided on the lever. When the lever is actuated from an open position to a locked position, the at least one tooth engages the gear rack and the lever pulls the sliding grip toward the front seat grip on the fishing rod.Type: GrantFiled: May 29, 2020Date of Patent: September 20, 2022Assignee: Pure Fishing, Inc.Inventors: William Rabbitt, Lindsey Tufts, Jr., Robert Soreo

Publication number: 20220172589Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for alerting workers in a work zone of a potential intrusion by a vehicle. The example system can comprise a detection unit operable to mount to a work zone boundary marker. The detection unit can monitor the work zone for intrusion by moving objects, such as by using the Doppler Effect. The detection unit can transmit an alarm signal to one or more personnel alerters, such as worn by workers. The personnel alerters can receive the alarm signal and activate an alert, such as an audible, visual, or other sensory alert. In this way, an alert is provided to personnel working in an established work zone that a moving object, such as a vehicle, has penetrated the work zone perimeter. This type of alert may provide the personnel the vital seconds needed to move to safety.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 18, 2022Publication date: June 2, 2022Applicant: FirstEnergy Corp.Inventors: William Fairweather, Nicholas E. Stanca, Robert Soreo, Jason Grant Tilk, David J. Boll, Roy Stevens, Kyle Sams

Publication number: 20210299688Abstract: Aerosol-free spray devices are provided. According to some embodiments, an aerosol-free spray device includes a piston operable within a piston chamber and coupled to a vacuum plunger operable within a vacuum chamber. Each component, including valves, of the aerosol-free spray device is composed of recyclable material of the same resin identification number. With the entire device made of material of the same resin identification number, the spray device is entirely and easily recyclable.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 31, 2021Publication date: September 30, 2021Inventors: Robert Craig ALLEN, Shawn DELLINGER, Donald C. Patent number: 11022080Abstract: A pump assembly for a fluid tank extends along a longitudinal axis and includes a cover at an external end, the cover including a flange that extends radially outward of the longitudinal axis, an insertable end opposite the external end along the longitudinal axis, and a rotatable arm that is flexible such that, when the rotatable arm is resiliently bent such that the rotatable arm has a radial extent, from the longitudinal axis, that is less than the flange, the sender assembly is in a compact state in which the insertable end and the flange would be able to move straight along the longitudinal axis, which is coaxial with a center axis of an opening of the fluid tank, from a position where the insertable end initially enters the opening to a position where the flange engages the fluid tank.Type: GrantFiled: February 7, 2020Date of Patent: June 1, 2021Assignee: TRICO GROUP, LLCInventors: Robert Soreo, Mike McKee, Lindsey Tufts, Jr., Ryan Gernheuser

Patent number: 10865750Abstract: A sender assembly that has a compact state, which may allow a pump assembly including the sender assembly to be easily inserted into an opening of a fluid tank. For example, the pump assembly may be insertable into the opening of the fluid tank while a longitudinal axis of the pump assembly remains coaxial with the opening. When in the compact state a rotatable arm and a float of the sender assembly may be entirely within or deformable to be within a predetermined envelope that has a radial extent less than the opening of the fluid tank to allow the sender assembly to be inserted straight into the opening. The predetermined envelope may be coaxial with the longitudinal axis and have a cross-section transverse to the longitudinal axis that matches the opening of the tank.Type: GrantFiled: February 11, 2019Date of Patent: December 15, 2020Assignee: Trico Group, LLCInventors: Robert Soreo, Mike McKee, Lindsey Tufts, Jr., Ryan Gernheuser
