  • Patent number: 11391061
Abstract: Latch assemblies and systems are disclosed. One latch includes a latch and a receiver. The latch has a housing and a pin extending from the housing. The pin is mounted for longitudinal movement along a pin axis. The latch further includes a motor coupled to move the pin longitudinally. The receiver defines an aperture extending along a receiver axis and positioned to receive the pin of the latch. The receiver has a retainer biased toward the receiver axis. The latch assembly has an open position in which the pin is extended distally along the pin axis and received in the aperture, and a latched position in which the pin is retracted proximally along the pin axis while the retainer is engaged with the pin. One latch system includes a plurality of latch assemblies configured to move to the latched position after all latch assemblies are in the open position.

  • Publication number: 20170161275
Abstract: A method for incorporating new terms in a term-vector space from a semantic lexicon includes identifying, by a computing device, a first term, the first term present in a first semantic lexicon, the first term absent from a term vector space. The method includes obtaining, by the computing device, from the first semantic lexicon, at least one second term related to the first term in the first semantic lexicon. The method includes finding, by the computing device, at least one vector in the vector space corresponding to the at least one second term. • Patent number: 9201864
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method and system for producing a term association vector space on demand for a client given a document set in electronic form. The method extracts terms from the document set, stripping out words that do not convey meaning and adding important phrases within the context of the document set to the terms. Associations between terms are calculated, subjected to further analytical processes, and collected in a matrix, whose rows are vectors defining the vector space. Additional associational data can be added by matrix arithmetic, and documents can be rendered as further vectors in the space.

  • Patent number: 9164667
Abstract: A system and related method are disclosed for rendering a set of words linked to an n-dimensional vector space in a word cloud rendered from a two-dimensional projection of the vector space, where the user can click and drag a word, and the subspace and projection thereon will shift to place the word where the user has dragged it in a new projection, and the other words in the cloud will shift correspondingly, offering the user new insights. The importance of words in a document set is represented by word size, and relatedness between words demonstrated by color similarity.

  • Publication number: 20140280088
Abstract: A system and related method are disclosed for searching a data set made up of a set of documents, a set of terms, and a vector associated with each term and each document. The method involves converting a search query to a vector in the vector space spanned by the term and document vectors, and combining vector-proximity searching and term searching to produce a set of results, which may be ranked according to various measures of relatedness to the query. Excerpts from each document in the result set may be displayed that contain the greatest term importance.

  • Patent number: 8757276
Abstract: A technique enables the efficient connection of communication lines in a well application by substantially reducing online rig assembly time. The technique reduces online time of the rig by sealably fastening a first connector of a downhole connection assembly to a segment of a communication line during offline assembly time to substantially reduce the online time requirements. The first connector is later connected to a corresponding second connector while the rig is online to complete the downhole connection assembly that joins communication line segments.
