In the present invention, the deleterious effects of hair removal, eg shaving, and antiperspirancy can be ameliorated by employing antiperspirant compositions containing a natural oil and glycerol to a combined concentration of from 1.5 to 15% by weight and in a weight ratio of from 4:1 to 1:4.
