    Abstract: The invention relates to a sports boot, in particular a cross-country ski boot. The cross-country ski boot is provided with a high outer upper and a low inner upper. The inner upper has a tie fastening for holding the foot. The outer upper is closed by a covering flap. According to the invention, the tie fastening of the inner upper also grips the outer upper, preferably in its ankle bending zone.

    Abstract: A sole support device having a support member and an endless band movably supported and guided on the support member between two edge structures extending transversely with respect to the longitudinal direction of the ski and projecting upwardly adjacent the side edges of the band. In order to avoid in such a device any damage to the band while stepping into a ski binding with a ski boot, the band consists of an endless support section and plural spaced elevations on the support section, which elevations project beyond or above the edge structures.
