  • Publication number: 20070187543
Abstract: A base assembly, including wheels, is attachable to the bottom of a hose reel enclosure. This assembly enables the hose reel enclosure to pivot about a vertical axis. This pivotal movement of the hose reel enclosure permits a hose to be withdrawn from and wound back onto the hose reel in the enclosure while remaining substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the hose reel. This also enables a hose to be taken up evenly onto the hose reel and played out from the hose reel without tipping over the hose reel enclosure. In one embodiment, the base assembly is attached to the bottom of a hose reel enclosure. Two wheels are mounted at one end portion of the assembly and a stake is positioned in a member mounted between the end portions of the base assembly. The stake is driven into the ground below the hose reel enclosure.

  • Publication number: 20070175108
Abstract: The present invention provides a system which includes injection molded wall panels, corner posts, and doors having integrated connectors which combine to form a family of variously sized wall assemblies and door assemblies for utility enclosures. The injection molding facilitates integrally formed connectors so that the panels, posts and door frames interlock with one another without the need for separate connectors. A window assembly is provided which optionally can be installed in one of the wall panels to provide light to the interior of the utility enclosure.

  • Publication number: 20070133516
Abstract: The present invention discloses an apparatus and method for selecting a codec for a connection in a packet-switched communications network are described. In one embodiment, a connection request generated by a user device is detected. A session identifier is then detected in response to the connection request. Afterwards, the session identifier is compared with a session identifier list. In the event the session identifier matches an entry in the session identifier list, a non-compressing codec, or other codec suited to the application, is selected. In response, the connection is established using the non-compressing codec.

  • Publication number: 20070114319
Abstract: Among the several aspects and features of the present invention may be noted the provision of an improved portable hose reel cart having a low-entry point for recoiling a hose in conjunction with an elevated hand crank for use in rotation of the reel. In an additional embodiment, the elevated hand crank is also used for movement of a level-wind hose guide for positioning of the flexible hose around the hose reel. The present invention also provides an enclosure that includes injection molded panels having integrally formed connectors adapted to cooperate with injection molded as well as extruded panels for assembly of a hose reel enclosure.

  • Publication number: 20070115898
Abstract: Methods, devices, and computer programs for using a wireline communication network, such as a cable network (306), to access a packet-switched service (21) delivered by a 3G communication network, such as a universal mobile telecommunications system (“UMTS”) communication network (10), are described. The service is provided to a wireless communication device, such as a mobile phone (16), by the 3G network via an access node (400) in the wireline network. The access node is configured to serve as an endpoint of a packet data tunnel (506) with the phone. The packet data tunnel establishes a security association between the phone and the access node. Using the packet data tunnel, a defined level of performance for data packets communicated between the 3G network and the phone is established, and data packets are routed between the 3G network and the phone based on the defined level of performance.

  • Publication number: 20070080614
Abstract: The present device provides an assembly, or kit, of injection molded panels having integrated connectors which combine to form a drawer cabinet with integrally formed guide rails and cooperating pull out drawers supported upon a plurality of rollers. The cabinet panels are formed of injection molded plastic and includes integrally formed connectors to interlock with one another without the need for separate fasteners. The integrated connection of the side, top and base panels simplifies the drawer cabinet construction and minimizes the number of components required to assemble the drawer cabinet. Injection molding allows the panels to be formed with integral cross-bracing, ribs and gussets for increased rigidity. When supplied as a kit, assembly of the drawer cabinet requires minimal hardware and a minimum number of hand tools.

  • Publication number: 20070006831
Abstract: A method for controlling a variable event valvetrain during engine start and stop is presented. According to the method, valve lift and/or timing can be adjusted to reduce the amount of oxygen pumped into an exhaust gas after treatment system.
