Abstract: A recording system for an emergency response unit includes a first data collection device configured to record a first video, audio or data segment with an incident identifier and transmit a message including the incident identifier. A second data collection device may receive the message and, as appropriate, record at least a second video, audio or data segment with the incident identifier, allowing the first segment and the second segment to be associated using the incident identifier. In other embodiments, a first recording device may begin recording video, audio or legal evidence data with an incident identifier, and a control system may receive a message including the incident identifier from the first recording device, identify one or more additional recording devices located within a certain distance of the first recording device, and obtain recordings from the one or more additional recording devices.

Abstract: A video recording device, holster and article of clothing are disclosed to reliably and covertly provide for the capture of video, audio, and metadata, and perform other commands. The holster may be provided with a carrier that is, in turn, inserted into the holster. In one embodiment, the holster may be confirmed as being associated with the video recording device to authenticate a user, and establishes a docked position. Moreover, the video recording device may enter a mode of operation associated with using the video recording apparatus automatically when inserted into a holster.

The method includes the further steps of receiving an input from one of an operator manually inputting the input or the header automatically communicating the input, defining an origin position, calibrating an origin pitch angle of the header, adjusting a position of the header, maintaining the origin position, determining a condition, and adjusting or maintaining at least one of the at least one header function, the at least one feeder housing function, and the at least one agriculture vehicle function in response to the condition.

An example method to navigate a vehicle includes determining environmental data associated with an area in which the vehicle is to navigate; based on the environmental data, automatically ranking a plurality of sensors that are available to the vehicle by respective costs of using the sensors to generate a navigation solution; automatically determining a subset of the sensors from which to obtain measurements based on the ranking and based on comparisons of a) first importance values of the sensors for navigating the vehicle with b) second importance values of the sensors for performing a non-navigation task; obtaining measurements from the subset of the sensors; calculating a navigation command to navigate the vehicle; and executing a first navigation action to implement the navigation command.

Abstract: To provide audience measurement services without requiring broadcasters to install additional watermarking equipment, a small video capture device may receive a video signal viewed by an audience member, the signal including embedded closed captioning data, and may decode and transmit the closed captioning data to an audience measurement server. The measurement server may receive the data and compare the received data to a database of closed captioning text to identify matches. The database may be populated via one or more additional capture devices receiving local or national broadcast signals, or with data separately provided by broadcasters. When a match is found, the measurement server may determine that the audience member is watching a program having the corresponding closed captioning. Dynamically generated confidence scores may allow for reliable identification of audience members of content, even with very short closed captioning data lengths.

Abstract: A technique facilitates monitoring and managing fatigue related a flexible conduit deployed from a surface vessel. Movements of the surface vessel may be measured to obtain vessel movement/position data. Based on this data, a flexible conduit bend profile may be determined via a computer-based data processing system. The flexible conduit bend profile may then be used to provide a flexible conduit fatigue profile for assessment of the flexible conduit in light of the environmental conditions. In some embodiments, the fatigue profile and assessment of the flexible conduit may be based on both functional loading and environmental loading.
