Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes establishing, by an identity agent installed on a device, a connection to a browser installed on the device and generating, by the identity agent, first device information, a public key, and a private key. The method also includes communicating, by the identity agent, the first device information and the public key to an authentication service and receiving, by the identity agent, a unique identifier from the authentication service. The method further includes generating, by the identity agent, a first signature of the first device information and communicating, by the identity agent, the first signature, the first device information, and the unique identifier to the browser.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes receiving, by an identity agent installed on a device, a credential associated with a user of the device and storing, by the identity agent, the credential on the device. The method also includes capturing, by the identity agent, information associated with a security posture of the device and generating, by the identity agent, an association of the security posture and the credential. The method further includes receiving, by the identity agent, a request for the association of the security posture and the credential from a browser and communicating, by the identity agent, the association of the security posture and the credential to the browser.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes receiving, by a WebAuthn proxy, login prompt information from a browser. The WebAuthn proxy and the browser are installed on a device. The method also includes generating, by the WebAuthn proxy, a WebAuthn credential request based on the login prompt information and communicating, by the WebAuthn proxy, the WebAuthn credential request to a WebAuthn authenticator. The method further includes receiving, by the WebAuthn proxy, a WebAuthn response from the WebAuthn authenticator and communicating, by the WebAuthn proxy, the WebAuthn response to the browser.

Abstract: A device for controlling an actuator includes an input interface that receives a plurality of input signals including a setpoint command signal and a feedback signal. An output interface provides a drive signal to the actuator. First, second, and third redundant loop controllers processes the setpoint command signal and the feedback signal to generate respective actuator control signals. A primary controller compares the actuator control signals to determine whether at least two are substantially similar. The device outputs the drive signal to the actuator according to an actuator control signals that has been determined by the primary controller to be substantially similar to another. Any one of the redundant loop controllers is hot swappable with a replacement loop controller such that loop controller redundancy is operatively maintained by the device in controlling the actuator while one of the redundant loop controllers is hot swapped.

Abstract: An electrical receptacle defines a receptacle formation of a mating formation pair to prevent a standard plug from establishing electrical connection while permitting an otherwise standard plug defining a corresponding plug formation to be sufficiently inserted to establish an electrical connection. The mating formation pair may include a projection on the receptacle adapted for receipt by a corresponding recess on a compatible plug. Alternatively, the mating formation pair is defined by an opening of the receptacle and a conductor of the plug, each having a cross-sectional height that is reduced from that of a standard receptacle and plug. The mating formation pair is particularly desirable for installation including a receptacle controlled by a dimmer to prevent electrical connection by a standard plug connected to a non-dimmable electrical load.
