  • Patent number: 10623556
Abstract: A method includes receiving a request from a television network server via a message mediation server for call log entries associated with multiple calls delivered to a telephony device. The method includes sending call log information to the television network server to enable display of the call log entries at a display device. The method includes receiving user input to delete a call log entry of the call log entries from a second media device via the message mediation server. The method includes deleting the call log entry from the call log information to generate revised call log information. The method includes receiving a second request from the television network server for the call log entries. The method includes sending the revised call log information to the television network server via the message mediation server to enable display of the call log entries at a second display device.

  • Patent number: 9008293
Abstract: Network-based methods and systems transfer caller ID information from a telephony network to an IPTV network. Embodiments integrate service provisioning, subscriber account and policy information between telephony services and IP-based television services. Voice call signaling may be intercepted to retrieve caller ID, caller name information, and other call management information, at the call server in the network to deliver an appropriate notification message to the IP-based TV network at its notification server, which in turn sends a message notification to the called party's TV screen. Call log information may also be retrieved and displayed. SIP call forking and IP multimedia subsystem approaches are described.

  • Patent number: 6802939
Abstract: A method of sizing paper by applying a composition comprising an aqueous dispersion of polymeric particles of particle size up to 1 micron, preferably 80-200 nm, wherein the polymeric particles comprise a water insoluble polymer matrix, preferably formed from styrene and 2-ethylhexyl acrylate, characterized in that an oligomer formed from a monomer blend comprising, (a) (meth)acrylamide, and (b) organic mercaptan or an organic sulphone, preferably dodecyl mercaptan or dodecyl sulphone is located at the surface of the particles. Compositions where the oligomer further comprises an ethylenically unsaturated monomer comprising either a tertiary amine group or a quaternary ammonium group, preferably dimethylaminoethylmethacrylate are novel. Advantages of the composition when applied to the surface of paper, include improved water resistance, brightness and printability properties of the treated paper.

  • Patent number: 6329057
Abstract: Polymer particles comprising a hydrophobic organic matrix and located at the exterior free cationic groups and a further polymer which comprises free hydroxy groups. The particles are produced by an aqueous suspension polymerization process wherein the continuous aqueous phase contains a polymerization stabilizer and a dissolved vinyl addition cationic monomer. The polymerization stabilizer can be any suitable polymer that comprises free hydroxy groups. The process results in polymers of average particle size in the range 50 to 150 microns and reduced levels of undesired polymer emulsion or undersized particles. The particles are particularly useful for absorbing water insoluble active ingredients, such as insecticides, insect repellents, fragrances, pheromones for subsequent slow release. The cationic surface character of said polymer particles makes them especially useful for forming stable dispersions or slurries in active concentrates such as perfume bases or detergent concentrates.
