  • Patent number: 11925984
Abstract: A powder-metallurgical sintered molybdenum part which is present as a solid body has the following composition: a molybdenum content of ?99.93% by weight, a boron content “B” of ?3 ppmw and a carbon content “C” of ?3 ppmw, with a total content “BaC” of carbon and boron being in a range of 15 ppmw?“BaC”?50 ppmw, an oxygen content “O” in a range of 3 ppmw?“O”?20 ppmw, a maximum tungsten content of ?330 ppmw and a maximum proportion of other impurities of ?300 ppmw. A powder-metallurgical process for producing such a sintered molybdenum part is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20240009722
Abstract: A high-temperature forming tool is formed at least partly of a molybdenum-based alloy having a fraction of molybdenum of ?90 wt. %. The molybdenum-based alloy is in a pressed-and-sintered state and in the pressed-and-sintered state has a thermal shock resistance of at least 250 K. The thermal shock resistance is defined as the quotient of ReH/(?·E), where ReH is the yield point at room temperature in MPa, a is the thermal expansion coefficient in 1/K and E is the elasticity modulus in MPa.

  • Patent number: 5288111
Abstract: A 90.degree. elbow for pneumatic transport pipes includes a tubular asymmetric cross-sectional expansion at the entrance side, a baffle plate along the outer elbow side and a tubular asymmetric cross-sectional contraction at the exit side of the elbow. The baffle plate is arranged at an angle between about 55.degree. and 65.degree. relative to the incoming flow direction of bulk material. The inner elbow side is defined by a quadrantal pipe shell, with the remaining area being complemented by segments to provide a closed cross section.

  • Patent number: 5248197
Abstract: A blending silo of the type having a silo vessel defining a center axis and provided with a conical bottom ending in a vessel outlet, includes a funnel with its longitudinal axis coinciding with the center axis of the silo vessel and with its interior space being subdivided by a plurality of sheet segments in several compartments which are successively arranged in circumferential direction such that neighboring compartments have differently sized inlet cross sections and/or outlet cross sections to attain a superior homogenizing of bulk material.

  • Patent number: 5238118
Abstract: A separator includes two concentric pipe sections, with the inner pipe section enclosing a displacement body with cone-shaped tip. In order to improve separation of angel hair, the displacement body has evenly spaced circumferential ribs to provide the displacement body with a cross section of star-shaped configuration.

  • Patent number: 4909676
Abstract: An apparatus for pneumatically conveying bulk material includes a conveyor line for transporting the bulk material and a secondary line which carries clean gas and is sectionized by spaced three-way/two-way directional control valves. Each control valve is actuated by a pressure transmitter which compares the actual pressure in the conveyor line with the desired pressure in a third line carrying a fluid at a desired pressure decreasing in downstream direction in accordance with the pressure drop in the conveyor line during normal operation. A communication between the conveyor line and the second line is provided by respective branch lines which define the third connection of the control valves and are multiply connected to the conveyor line.

  • Patent number: 4859067
Abstract: A bulk material mixer includes a container accommodating a central tube provided with a plurality of lateral inlet openings at various levels. The inlet openings have a cross section which increases from bottom to top so that the inlet openings at the lowest level have a smallest cross section while the inlet openings at the uppermost level have a greatest cross section.
