  • Publication number: 20240108212
Abstract: The eye imaging system for producing images with reduced speckle artifacts may comprise a laser diode for providing a beam of radiation to the eye; a detector for collecting light returning from the eye and generating output signals in response thereto, the detector having a sensor integration time; a driver circuit for applying a modulated drive signal to the laser diode, the modulated drive signal inducing a spectral broadening of the beam of radiation during the sensor integration time. The laser diode may be a single-mode laser designed to operate at a fixed current and wavelength. The drive signal may be modulated by shaping a drive current pulse. The drive signal may be modulated by imposing an RF modulation on a drive current pulse. The drive signal may be further modulated by shaping a drive current pulse.

  • Patent number: 8874479
Abstract: A method is provided for testing a trading system having a verification subsystem and trading environments. Each of the environments has a network interface, memory, and a matching engine executed by a processor. The method includes retrieving, by the verification subsystem, at least one defined use case. Each defined use case includes command lines. The method also includes parsing the command lines based on defined parsing rules to produce parsed command lines. Each parsed command line includes a verb specifying financial transactions. Each parsed command line also includes data fields. The method further includes mapping the verb and fields of each command line based on defined mapping relationships to generate a test case. The method also includes executing the test case to generate messages to be executed by the trading system. The method also includes reading parameters of the trading system for comparison to specified validation values.

  • Patent number: 7216630
Abstract: An oil activated fuel injector which provides a pilot quantity of fuel prior to the main fuel injection event. A control system for a fuel injector includes a sensor for providing a signal to a control which is indicative of an opening motion of a spool. The control initiates a pull back of the spool, upon receipt of the signal, to eliminate a bounce back phenomenon of the spool during an injection of a pilot quantity of fuel. The signal may be representative of a pressure of working fluid or fuel, as well as a position or acceleration of the spool.

  • Publication number: 20050289036
Abstract: The present invention provides a new form of financial instrument for securitization of retail automotive and light truck lease assets. The instrument is supported by secured notes that are separately and independently secured by a first priority perfected lien on each related vehicle and lease (to protect the investment entity which creates securities sold to investors 27 and, thereby, the investors 27). The method of the present invention for creating the financial instrument includes creating a leasing company. The leasing company then acquires leases from dealers. In one embodiment of the present invention, termination value guarantees on the leases can be obtained. A financial asset is issued to fund the acquisition of the leases. In one embodiment of the present invention, a nominee titleholder and a registered lien are created on each leased vehicle. The financial asset is transferred to a securities-issuing entity.

  • Patent number: 6662783
Abstract: A control valve for a fuel injector generally includes a valve body and a spool positioned within a bore of said valve body. The spool is slideable between a first and second position. The control valve also comprises a first bore in fluid communication with a rail inlet of the fuel injector, a cross bore positioned within the valve body and offset from the first bore, and a groove located about the spool. The groove provides fluid communication between the cross bore and the first bore when the spool is in the first position, and seals fluid communication when the spool is in the second position. At least two solenoids are provided on opposing sides of the spool for moving the spool between the first and second positions, and a non-magnetic barrier is provided between the solenoids and the spool.
