  • Patent number: 6499198
Abstract: An integral spring clip and computer slot cover is disclosed for mounting over an expansion slot of a PC. The cover has an integrally formed spring clip assembly for capturing a ledge of the PC case over an expansion slot therein at one end and means formed at an opposite end of said cover assembly for retaining that end of said cover assembly to the computer case to allow either a slot cover to be mounted over the slot without the use of screws or to mount an expansion card therein by mounting the card through an opening formed in the cover assembly.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 24, 2001
Date of Patent: December 31, 2002

  • Patent number: 6401311
Abstract: A spring clip having a flexible leg portion ending in a tab is made to be mountable in an expansion slot of a PC to allow the tab of the clip to capture either an expansion slot cover or a PC expansion card by having the tab spring into a hole found in both the expansion card and the blank cover fitting therein.

  • Patent number: 5023759
Abstract: A vehicle headlight position adjustment assembly is provided that in a preferred embodiment (100) has a rotary input member (8) that upon rotation causes a threaded output adjustment member (6) to transverse axially through openings (34) and (34') in opposite side walls of first housing part (2) of a two part housing. The second part (4) or cover for the housing includes at least one pedestal (44) and preferably two spaced-apart pedestals (44) and (44') having apertures therethrough through which output member 6 extends enabling the pedestals to hold housing parts 2 and 4 together in the event that they become detached from each other.

  • Patent number: 4796494
Abstract: A vehicular headlight position adjusting assembly (100) is provided. Assembly (100) includes a two-part housing (2, 4) within which meshingly engaged gears (22, 32) are rotationally supported in a manner providing an angular relationship between their respective rotational axis. Gears (22, 32) are rotated by an input drive member (16) extending from housing (2, 4). Gear (32) is threadingly engaged with an adjustment member (20) having an end operatively engaged with a movable frame (46) upon which the headlight is mounted and having an elongate flat (26) that slidingly engages a projection (24) of gear (22) operative to prevent adjustment member (20) from rotating such that rotation of drive member (16) in opposite directions causes adjustment member (20) to traverse without rotation in opposite directions to adjust the headlight position.
