Abstract: An improved door jamb and brickmold assembly is provided wherein an extruded thermoplastic molding and stop member is secured to wooden support members to define the door jambs and mullions of a door and jamb assembly. The co-extruded plastic molding and stop members define both the stops of the assembly and the exposed decorative molding portion and also protect the wooden support members from exposure to the elements.

Abstract: An improved door jamb and brickmold assembly has a rectangular wooden jamb and a unitary co-extruded thermoplastic member mounted to said jamb and defining both the door stop and the brickmold of the assembly. In one embodiment, an elongated securing tab projects from the brickmold and is positioned to overly the exterior surface of a building in which the assembly is mounted for securing the brickmold to the building.

Abstract: A continuous sidelight threshold and door sill assembly for use with entryways having at least one fixed sidelight panel and a hinged door panel comprises an extruded aluminum frame having an elongated channel and a sloped sill. A vertically adjustable threshold cap is shorter than the channel is configured to fit in and be selectively positioned at a predetermined location along the channel. A separate panel cap is also configured to fit in the channel and be selectively positioned therealong. The assembly is universally adaptable to be used either with left handed, right handed, or double sided sidelight door entryways simply by positioning the threshold cap and the panel cap at respective appropriate locations along the channel. A removable paint shield is provided to protect the threshold and sill assembly from paint and damage during construction of a building in which the assembly is installed.

Abstract: This invention relates to a glazing or insulating bead useable particularly with large commercial type glass building walls wherein the building wall frame structure embodies window frames, each frame has channels to receive a window pane, each channel has a pair of small opposed facing longitudinal sockets at its entrance and the glazing bead herein is particularly adapted to be non-stretchable in being disposed into one of the sockets either by being pulled thereinto or may be pushed laterally thereinto, in either instance, the glazing bead is particularly adapted not to be dislodged by the subsequent installation of a window pane.

Abstract: A unitary protective wall member guard such as for a corner consisting of an underlying layer conforming to the wall member and a second overlying layer spaced from said first layer there across for a substantial extent thereof and said layers having common side edge portions, said second layer being in spaced relation to said wall member, being yieldingly resistant to impact, saving the underlying corner member from the direct effect of the impact and distributing the impact throughout the extent of itself.
