Abstract: An implantable medical device has a therapy module configured to generate a composite pacing pulse including a series of at least two individual pulses. The therapy module is configured to generate the composite pacing pulse by generating a first pulse of the at least two individual pulses by selectively coupling a first portion of a plurality of capacitors to an output signal line and generate a second pulse of the at least two individual pulses by selectively coupling a second portion of the plurality of capacitors to the output signal line.

Abstract: Food compositions and methods are provided for non-fat and low-fat food compositions containing a polyvinylpyrrolidone. The food compositions contain polyvinylpyrrolidone and other ingredients such as food stabilizers. Preferred compositions are non-fried foods, which include diary products, baked goods, salad dressings, and meat products. Specific food compositions include ice cream, muffins and pourable salads.

Abstract: By means of a novel triple-beam spectrophotometer, the protein and fat contents in milk can be simultaneously and rapidly determined. The system is self-compensating for discrepancies in the light path and for variations in lamp intensity, thereby yielding highly accurate analysis.

Abstract: Animal carcasses are thoroughly cleaned by a single pass through a cleaning unit having a pair of oscillating spray bar assemblies, each equipped with a plurality of nozzles arranged to collectively contact all exposed surfaces of the carcass. The cleaning unit is enclosed within an open-ended chamber having at either end a vestibular system of baffles for containing the spray liquid while permitting uninhibited passage of the carcasses.
