  • Publication number: 20240139516
Abstract: A system includes memory, and processing circuitry coupled to the memory, the processing circuitry configured to: determine at least one of: a cross-electrical signal measurement at a first electrode on a first lead implanted within a tongue of the patient based on a stimulation signal between a second electrode on the first lead or a second lead implanted within the tongue of the patient and a third electrode, or a strain measurement of at least one of the first lead or the second lead. The processing circuitry is configured to determine movement of the tongue based on at least one of the cross-electrical signal measurement or the strain measurement, and generate information indicative of the movement of the tongue.

  • Patent number: 6128900
Abstract: A system for supplying an implement with hydraulic fluid includes a first hydraulic pump generating a first flow, a second hydraulic pump generating a second flow and a valve assembly adapted to be coupled to the implement and coupled to the first and second flows. The valve assembly couples the first flow to the implement. The valve assembly also selectively adds the second flow to the first flow to provide a low flow or a high flow. The valve assembly couples the first flow to the implement via a first coupling in response to a first signal and via a second coupling in response to a second signal. The system further includes a manually operable control coupled to the valve assembly and movable between the first position which the first signal is generated, a second position in which the second signal is generated and a third position in which a third signal is generated. The system also includes a foot pedal control coupled to the manually operable control and to the valve assembly.

  • Patent number: 5736691
Abstract: Disclosed is a foam sound barrier for a machine such as a construction machine having several control levers. The barrier includes acoustic blocks, each of which has a notch between plural projections. Such blocks are made of acoustic material for sound-deadening and define a clearance portion (i.e., a hole) for accommodating the levers. In one embodiment, the blocks are conformably "saw-tooth" shaped for wedge fit against one another and in another embodiment, the blocks are collinear and retain a bellows-like boot around one of the levers. The embodiments can be used alone or together. The barrier reduces sound level by at least about 0.8 decibels and also helps exclude dirt from the machine operator's compartment.

  • Patent number: 5611657
Abstract: A loader arm assembly is configured to rotate about an axis defined by a pivot pin. The loader arm assembly includes a loader arm having a first end and a second end, the first end having a cavity. The cavity is configured to be aligned with an axis of rotation. The cavity has a cavity perimeter. The loader arm assembly further includes a pivot tube assembly including a pivot tube having an inner bore configured to engage a pivot pin for rotation about the axis. The pivot tube further has an outer perimeter. A portion of the outer perimeter fixedly engages the cavity perimeter. The pivot tube assembly further includes one or more plates extending from the pivot tube in fixed parallel engagement with the loader arm.

  • Patent number: 5165262
Abstract: A security cover assembly for an instrument panel. The cover assembly is hinged to a console and consists of upper and lower hinged portions that can be folded and moved to a stored position where it will not obstruct the operators vision. When closed the cover is locked in position and designed so that it can not be readily pried open. When opened, the cover is secured to the back of the console and is retained against vibration.

  • Patent number: 4848498
Abstract: An improved vertical service door for a tractor engine housing of the vertically-hinged horizontally swingable type. The vertical service door has a lower panel hinged to the lower edge of an upper panel, and means to support the lower panel in a horizontal position when the door is open so that it may serve as a tool tray during engine service. Some preferred embodiments include an inwardly-turned edge forming a vertical retaining edge for the tray and a rod/J-slot linkage between the upper and lower panels to support the lower panel in its horizontal position.

  • Patent number: 4682666
Abstract: A movable cab structure and operator's compartment for a front end loader which permits complete access to all parts of the front end loader for easy servicing, repair or replacement work. In one embodiment, each base frame side member of the front end loader includes an elongated rail, a stop, and a bracket having a roller mounted thereon. Each side wall of the operator's compartment also includes an elongated rail and a roller which is mounted to the side wall by a bracket. As the operator's compartment is moved forwardly, the rails on the compartment side walls engage the rollers on the base frame side members while the rollers on the compartment side walls engage the underside of the rails on the base frame side members. The operator's compartment may then be easily moved forwardly to an extreme position until the rollers on the compartment side walls engage stops on the base frame side members.
