  • Publication number: 20240134357
Abstract: An industrial communication module includes a controller and a common interface coupled to the controller. The common interface is configured to couple to a plurality of different types of sensor modules. The industrial communication module includes protocol/output circuitry coupled to the controller and configured to provide an output to a remote device. A sensor module includes a controller and a common interface coupled to the controller. The common interface is configured to couple to a plurality of different types of industrial communication modules. The sensor module includes measurement processing circuitry coupled to the controller and configured to measure an analog electrical characteristic of a sensor and provide a digital indication of the measured analog electrical characteristic to the controller.

  • Patent number: 11960334
Abstract: Cable assemblies for providing electrical communication between hinged sections of an electronic device are described. The cable assemblies can include a cover that covers one or more cables that run through a hinge region of the electronic device. The cable and cover can be drawn over a mandrel of the hinge region. The cover and the portions of the mandrel can be visible to a user at the hinge region of the electronic device. The cover can be sufficiently rigid to guide a path of the cable and protect the cable from bending beyond a prescribed angle during rotation of the electronic device at the hinge region. The cover can also be sufficiently rigid to prevent ceasing or folding of the cover and the cable during rotation of the electronic device at the hinge region.

  • Patent number: 5435598
Abstract: A portfolio is formed from a blank of relatively rigid sheet material that includes front and rear covers hingedly connected for enclosing a multiple-page document. A document securement flap extends as an integrally formed member from the top edge of the rear cover. The document securement flap includes multiple panels defined by parallel fold lines. Folding of the panels about the fold lines creates a pocket for receiving and securing the upper marginal edge of the multiple-page document, and creates a structure that permits the document so secured to pivot about the fold line at which the document securement flap joins the rear cover.

  • Patent number: 4155186
Abstract: An anti-shark grenade which comprises concentric tubes of lightweight plastic, the outermost tube being a waterproof shell on the inside of which are located a plurality of percussion caps bearing against a waterproof tube containing an explosive charge fitting against a tube containing dehydrated blood cake bait and having a water permeable perforated closure. The innermost tube is a buoyancy tube sealed at both ends. Water causes the blood cake to dissolve thereby attracting the shark to the floating grenade. Upon biting by the shark, the grenade explodes.
