Responsive to the first user utilizing the user interface, the methods, systems, and computer program products generate a plurality of threads within the collaborative effort system for a single discussion group of the collaborative effort system; authorize a second user access to at least a first thread of the plurality of threads after the generation of the plurality of threads; associate the second user with a user group after the generation of the plurality of threads; and authorize the user group access to at least a second thread of the plurality of threads. The methods generate a plurality of icons displayed in the user interface for the plurality of threads. The methods also displays in the user interface a priority of a problem to be solved through the collaborative effort system.

The method includes the step of selecting an attribute that is common to all of the resources, wherein each resource has a status in regard to the selected attribute that is one of a plurality of prespecified statuses that are available for the attribute. The method further includes compressing the group of resources into a set of subgroups, wherein each subgroup corresponds to a different prespecified status of the plurality, and each resource having a given status is placed into the subgroup that corresponds to the given status. Abstract: An approach is provided to apply a virtual machine (VM) image to a computer system. In the approach, implemented by an information handling system, a detection is made that a current VM image executing on the computer system is experiencing a problem. In response, prior VM images are analyzed, with each of the prior VM images being an image that was previously executed on the computer system. Based on the analysis, one of the prior VM images is selected and the selected image is used to replace the current VM image on the computer system.
