  • Publication number: 20240087103
Abstract: A vision inspection system for laser welds includes a scanning station to support a workpiece including one or more laser welds. A vision sensing assembly includes a top surface, a bottom surface, side surfaces, a light source, and a sensor. The light source illuminates the workpiece while the sensor generates an image of the one or more laser welds of the workpiece. A shield is arranged around the top surface and the side surfaces of the vision sensing assembly. The bottom surface of the vision sensing assembly is arranged above a lower edge of the shield by a first predetermined distance.

  • Publication number: 20240069352
Abstract: A system may include an electronic device such as a head-mounted device and a handheld controller for controlling the electronic device. The handheld controller may have a housing with an elongated shaft extending between first and second tip portions. The handheld controller may have power receiving circuitry configured to receive power from a power source. The power source may be incorporated into an electronic device such as a wireless charging dock or stick, a battery case, or a head-mounted device. The power source may supply power through terminals that form ohmic contacts with mating terminals in the finger device or may transmit power wirelessly using capacitive coupling or inductive charging arrangements. Magnets may be used to hold and align the elongated shaft of the handheld controller on the power source.

  • Patent number: 7340057
Abstract: A method and apparatus for distributing authorization to provision devices on a wireless network are described. A primary trusted provisioning domain (TPD) operating within a trusted environment established by the wireless carrier's firewall can provision the mobile devices. The primary TPD may distribute the authorization to provision one or more of the mobile devices to one or more secondary TPDs operating outside the trusted environment. Digital signatures may be used to authenticate provisioning requests from TPDs.

  • Patent number: 5383793
Abstract: An adjustable height and position retainer for releasable retaining a printed circuit card in a circuit card edge connector. The retainer includes an elongated base member for attachment to the side of a circuit card edge connector, an elongated retaining post, and a clamp assembly slideably attached to the retaining post and positionable at any selected position along the length of the retaining post. The retaining post is slideably attached to the base member such that the post is secured in an orthogonal relationship with the circuit card edge connector and parallel with a circuit card installed into the edge connector, yet the retaining post is positionable at any selected position along the length of the base member. The clamp assembly includes an extrusion which holds the top edge of a printed circuit card installed into the circuit card edge connector.
